    I guess I just don't get the outrage. There are plenty of fat dudes on TV. Some even get naked. I don't hear anyone complaining the way people complain about Lena Dunham. Truthfully, I barely know what she looks like. I have never seen a single episode of Girls, though I may watch it in the future. I just don't understand why anyone would be upset over this. If you find her unattractive, vile, disgusting and bitchy, simply avoid her. It's simple. I dislike certain actors, so I don't watch things they are in.

    It's both. You have all these dumbass girls going to extremes because they worry about their body image. Instead of teaching them how to eat healthy, and take care of themselves, you have dipshits like the one on HBO taking the other extreme of "it's ok not to give a fuck about your health.     Maybe you and IWP watch shows where dudes get naked but that isnt the norm!!

    but anyways.....Im not upset over it..never heard or seen anything she was in. Just was stating she was too fugly to be make it a point of taking off her clothes all the time!

    Correct me if I am wrong, but you watch SoA. Jax is naked quite a bit. Even some of the guys who aren't in shape are nude or partially nude often.

    I guess he is shirtless at times in the show, but FX cannot show the shit that whatever channel her show is on. Although.......they have shown some more than normally would be on tv!

    The people who express outrage at the Girls nude scenes are precisely why they have them. She knows it pisses guys off to see a fat/out of shape girl naked, so she goes over the top with it. She is naked WAY more than the story calls for just to prove a point.

    but I will say this....way back in the day, pretty sure you were too young to remember, NYPD Blue was groundbreaking with language and nudity on NBC, and they had that fat Andy Sipowicz (sp) and I dont recall his real name, ...showed his nake fat ass and yeah....it was gross!

    Her point is so god damn worthless and stupid. "Men are genetically inclined to think physically fit women are more beautiful then overweight women, but I'm gonna get naked a lot because they hate that!"

    Sorry that I think women should take care of their bodies and not let themselves go to the point that they have to hold up their fat rolls in order to find their vagina.

    You don't need to be sorry for feeling that way. I would guess the majority of others agree. But not all do. And not all men and women are going to keep all of their clothes on unless they are a 7+. That's not real life. I just find the outrage to be odd.

    I was literally told to shut the fuck up about it earlier. Over a TV show. If you hate Lena Dunham, don't watch a show she stars in. It seems so simple to me. If you really like the show, that says to me you like her, too. She is the creator, and has written, directed and produced for it as well. If you enjoy the show, you enjoy an aspect of her. If her nudity is really SO HORRIBLE AND AWFUL AND THE WORST THING EVER, just don't watch. You might have to miss out on something you occasionally enjoy, but that's life. There are pros and cons to almost everything.

I do not enjoy a lot of things about a lot of shows but if I stopped watching it because of one thing I dislike I wouldn't watch any show (besides The Wire of course).

    Yeah, I guess I should clarify that you don't come across as outraged. That would be bases loaded saying the following:
    She's the "creative" mind behind the show and a whiny bitch communist brat. 100% sure she created the show so people would have to see her fat ugly ass naked.

    Never seen the show, but have seen Dunham on late night shows. I'd say a girl of her body type being naked is more "real life" than say, Alexandra Daddario or Lili Simmons screwing a guy tha looks like Woody Harrelson. Girls sounds like it is more realistic than most shows on tv.

    But then again, we prefer to look at women naked who are sexy just like we rather listen to an artist who can sing over just the 'normal' realistic person.

    There are plenty of women who look very good when they are clothed, but not so much when they arent. This lady is neither.

    Started watching Ray Donovan on a recommendation. Not bad, expected a bit more action/death, but pretty good plot.
