It was entertaining in that trainwreck sort of way that watching your sports team get mauled 68-0 by a great team. You hate what's happening, but you can't stop watching because you're watching a great team just put on a clinic with huge plays and stuff and in a way, you kinda of like it because if you're gonna lose, it might as well be in a way where all you can do is shake your head and laugh as opposed in the way where you're pissed off for a week because that damn fucking kicker went wide left on a 31-yard gamewinner.
LOL, that guy posts here too? He took that train wreck with him on yappi too. -
Heretic
He posted here. After the thread had been a trainwreck for forever, due to things getting in that "potential lawsuit" zone with the way everyone was attacking each other, we pretty much started putting a stop to him using the message boards to wholesale attack others and vice versa, so he flipped out over that, took credit for all the traffic we were getting and went back to Yappi. And then got booted from there a few days later.like_that;1528837 wrote:LOL, that guy posts here too? He took that train wreck with him on yappi too. -

Good deal. I hear a lot of people that want to coach but can't "commit" to it. And many of them just don't understand that many coaches just want some help.justincredible;1528462 wrote:The position isn't full time anyway. It was practice Tuesday and Thursday and tournaments on Sunday. The problem is I had to leave work at 3:30 on practice days and I'm not able to do that this year. I did offer to help out when I can but I just can't be the "head" coach.
It's so rewarding... -

FiradI've been mostly a lurker since I joined JJ under a different name in HS in 2007 then transferred over. This probably reflects my personality some since I'm not very opinionated and quieter in general. Also I've termed myself the "The Thread Killer" because it seems like my first post in half the threads that I actually post in are the last post of the the entire thread lol

Lol, that's how I felt for a long time. I never posted much and still don't post a ton but I would be ready for a debate or conversation to get going and post and nobody would ever respond. Doesn't seem to happen as much anymore though.Firad;1528891 wrote:Also I've termed myself the "The Thread Killer" because it seems like my first post in half the threads that I actually post in are the last post of the the entire thread lol -

Pretty much this.Mister Twister;1526830 wrote:I have to admit that I am probably one of the ultimate lurkers on the site. I generally have the OC up while at work, 9-5 Monday thru Friday. But as evidenced by my post count, I hardly post. Why is this? Can't really think of one thing, in particular. Sometimes content is lacking. Sometimes I am afraid that I might ruffle someone's feathers with my thoughts/opinions. Sometimes I just don't feel like part of "the group" because it seems like there are cliques on the site. Hard to pinpoint an exact reason.
I will try to make an effort to post more.
Carry on.
The OC used to be nice for random info, but I feel I primarily get that from Reddit now.
Regardless, I should participate more. Will try will try. -

merganserLong time lurker. I just read the 3rd grade comments and move on. No sense getting involved in a thread where everyone goes into attack mode.

Haha I went to OU vs OSU in 2010 and the whole stadium would do the "OH-IO" chant from we to side and we in the whole OU section (all 1,000 of us) would add a "U!" at the end.hang_loose;1528935 wrote:Some funny posts guys... chicago510Former binge poster, now mostly just a lurker. School has me so busy I normally don't have time to post. Just like to read what everyones thinking about a current event or the OSU game. Will try to post more often if possible.
