Playground favorite….

Which playground game did you like play more? Tetherball or Foursquare</SPAN>

Battleball was played only in the gym classes... confined area

I love playing both but Foursquare provide that extra opportunity to draw blood… (contact sport cross court) When my kids got older I put in a Foursquare court and Basketball hoop on the side of the garage. Rules Simple: Descant Serve can be called, Spikes and Spins only, lines are out there crying in Foursquare only getting even.. </SPAN></SPAN>

Smash .. hard hit ball aimed at the head or center mass..... or sometime at the feet to knock them off balance..
this is a way to keep the player from crowding up to the center line. ...

The game that got I Wear Pants tackled often while growing up.......

Either football or kickball was our game of choice..usually kickball as ya could get more people to actually play.

In foursquare I would just rifle the ball straight at the kid, almost always caught it, or it hit them and went flying out. Either win I emerged the victor.

"Dodgeball" with rolls of quarters rather than a ball. Kids were a lot tougher back then.

    This.

We played pickle(hot box, whatever you want to call it) on the black top as well. Always ended up in scraped knees and legs.

Our last year in elementary the principal said no more footballs on the playground after some girl got hit the head by an errant pass...only the red rubber playground balls could be used. So we ended up playing "football" using one of those. We were essentially playing rugby and didn't even know it! Lol

I heard on the radio yesterday that some school in New York banned "hard balls"... So baseballs, footballs, soccer balls, etc.

Sounds like whoever made the decision has no balls, amirite

Just don't shake hands after the game. A fight may start.

Saw it on the news today...may be the same place but they also banned tag and summersalts at recess.

Guess they wont be happy until the kids are sitting at a table and playing on their fucking phones at recess....
