cruiser_96I know, I know... GFY. But let's get beyond that if only for the moment.
Pros (likes): I'm digging the up swipe feature. Easy access to Airplane Mode, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. ... I also like the access to the brightness and volume control here. The flashlight setting is SO MUCH better than the unreliable app i had before. Among other things...
Cons (dislikes): No likey the calendar. Or the inability to swipe my email in order to archive it.
Mehs: Color. Whatevs.
I'm upgrading from the 4 to the 5s so this should be fun. Also from a 16GB to a 32GB so my storage ability doubles. That's cool, I guess. -
AutomatikTo archive emails, swipe left now.

ernest_t_bassThe iPhone 5c is the best phone I've ever owned. While it is the same (inside, basically) as the 5, I think they did so much more with changing the physical aspects. So much lighter, so much thinner.

OK. I'll accept the LOLFAIL, but it's better than my old 4s.dlazz;1507592 wrote:iPhone 5 weight and thickness: 3.95oz, .3 in

AutomatikSame goes for texts.
A few days after the update my battery was getting raped. I then did a hard reset and changed some settings. It's better than ever now and also free'd up some space.
I was planning on upgrading to the 5S since I'm eligible, but I'm thinking fuck it. My 4S is in great shape, gonna roll with it for another year.
iPhone 6 innovation next year! -

This feature has existed on Android for awhile now, as has the "swipe up" to toggle wifi/bluetooth/etc.cruiser_96;1507597 wrote:#MindBlown
LOL, Apple innovation. SMH.

You can sell your 4s, and basically get a 5c for free.Automatik;1507600 wrote:Same goes for texts.

cruiser_96I do not think I have ever deleted a text message.
dlazz: yes. Also, I tried to order my phone off of dlazz.net, but it (the website) was under construction. Any time frame for it to be up and running? Wednesday???
Actually, the issue for the archiving email had more to do with I thought they had gotten rid of the feature altogether. Who would have that I had to swipe THE OTHER WAY!?!?!?!?!
In total, I think iPhone and Android is more a preference thing than a superiority thing. I prefer Apple. -
wkfanI've been told not to upgrade my 8gb iPhone 4....truth or fiction??

I don't want the 5C, I'd also have to extend my contract 2 years. I'm not sure I want to do that.ernest_t_bass;1507602 wrote:You can sell your 4s, and basically get a 5c for free.
Android nerds are just as bad as Apple nerds. I laugh at them both equally. -

I like Android because I can customize it how I want. If I didn't want a customizable phone, I'd look at Windows Phone first.Automatik;1507639 wrote: Android nerds are just as bad as Apple nerds. I laugh at them both equally.
I'm not an Android fanboy, but more of an anti-Apple fanboy. I prefer value over cost. -
Belly35Here my the requirements:
I don’t want to carry an Phone and a Computer (tablet) at the same time, I what something that is a combo of both
The device will have to have high speed connectivity to the main office for downloading information
Standard word, excel, power point, GPS and data base management Compatible with Mac and Pc
Special Formula software, CAD Software (large storage ability and hard drive)
Works as my phone and a computer … keyboard would be great
Strong power supply
Cost is not a issue .. simplicity is important
Suggestion would be helpful -

Exactly. People that are anti-anything are way worse than people who are pro that same thing.Automatik;1507687 wrote:lol @ anti-Apple fanboy. So much caring.
As for the upgrade, I love the menu. Flashlight is the best feature since I use it all the time. I hated having to open the app. -

Sounds like you're looking for a phablet. Not sure the Galaxy S4 has the "oomph" you're looking for, but it should be able to do everything else you stated (I believe).Belly35;1507670 wrote:Here my the requirements:
