    Mastercard is for poor people.

I use this - but be warned they call you and send you shit in the mail constantly.

Just go down to your local bar and ask around. There will be a bookie around somewhere.

Yeah pretty sure Betus is the only one that lets you use mastercard. Sportsbook and Bovada are Visa only.

And RDI is right Betus goes over the top calling you and sending you stuff pretty much every month.

I've used Bovada. No issues but Visa only

Betus says it blocked my registration because of where I live? Weird.

    I use Bovada

I tried Bovada but my bank wouldn't allow the transfer. I'm looking for a good site also now. Signed up for Betus back in college but never actually made a wager because well I was a poor college kid. They did send me a big packet of crap and called constantly too like previous posts say.

I'm using Bovada and not doing too bad, won about $55 so far.

Hit on Arizona (+1.5), St. Louis (+7.5) and Dallas (+3.5) today.

    Lost Washington (+7.5).

I got hosed on a bunch of what I thought were safe bets. Bet Michigan to cover the spread, Indiana to not cover the spread, and another one that escapes me.

Like others, I recommend Bovada. It's the best service I've encountered. Simple to set up (I wire cash via Western Union) and very professional for an offshore sportsbook.

Just be aware, though, that they'll ask you for your SS# upon signing up for "identity verification." Yes, because if you're lying, the offshore money launderer is going to call the authorities. I obviously was not going to hand over my secret information to a man on the telephone from the Philippines, so I made up a fake number and, after being put on fake hold for a few moments as classical music played, the man returned to the phone to tell me that I my fake SS# had been verified. What a joke. I'd love to know what they are doing with the real numbers people give them. Aside from that, it's a good site.

Wut. This has never happened to me. Sounds to me like you fell for a scammer. Judging by your posts, you falling for one doesn't surprise me.

Obviously I didn't fall for a scammer as I simply gave a fake number when I signed up, as I indicated, and have been using Bovada ever since. They asked a friend of mine for their SSN as well. I started using Bovada last year, so it might be a new thing they have implemented. Either way, it's BS. But aside from that, I like the site.

I should note that they only asked for the last four digits of your SSN which, upon a quick Google search, appears to be a fairly common scenario for online sportsbooks. Obviously they do not actually need that number, as they would have no way of actually verifying it anyway.

    Two downsides to Bovada

-It's now Tuesday and they don't have the CFB lines posted/open

-They really limit what games you can parlay

Untrue. If used wisely parlays can be a valuable tool in any gambler's toolbox. Same for teasers. Just don't use them exclusively.
