So I was right about everybody claiming they would close solely because Obama was re-elected. I haven't heard of one yet.Belly35;1495969 wrote:You don't quit a job without having another .. you don't just close business without options .... timing and leveage .... -
JawbreakerI use a Nexus 10 and really like it. The display is wonderful.

justincredibleThis thread is about tablets. Not Obamacare. Or am I confused?
-
justincredibleBtw, I have an ipad and I like it. The only other tablets I have played around on are a kindle fire and some windows 8 thing. I did not like either. I would like to play around on an android tablet at some point.

TiernanI got a free iPad from Sleeper last year...you mean you all didn't get one? He musta just gave it those of us in the Basement with him at the time.

My daughter got a Kindle Fire HD for her birthday, and I find her playing with our iPad more than the Kindle. I don't really get it. You have access to basically all Android apps, amazon books, netflix.justincredible;1495981 wrote:Btw, I have an ipad and I like it. Why didn't you like the Kindle Fire HD? -

I didn't like the UI, mostly. And it felt clunky. -
justincredibleAnd to be fair, it was the first gen fire.

wes_mantoothDon't buy no name tablets...a lot of them don't have the Google play store. Stick with something like Asus or Samsung. The best bang for your buck is a nexus

Jawbreaker
When purchasing Android tablets, I only go with either a Nexus 7 or 10. You know they are going to be supported and get update as well as none of the other added bloat found on non nexus tablets.wes_mantooth;1496005 wrote:Don't buy no name tablets...a lot of them don't have the Google play store. AppleI'm definitely leery of the no names. Will look at Samsung et al. thanks.
oh... and I agree with Klu being the boss! -
