Have you ever met a celebrity before?

Dr. Heinz FraudsterI remember meeting Gerard Depardieu in Marseille 3 years ago while playing petanque in the park with some old timers.
He is probably one of the more entertaining alcoholics I have ever met. He joined us for an unforgettable evening of petanque, robbed the old timers of their pocket money.
Drunk out of his mind he was an expert player.
I also once had a brief encounter with sports reporter Tony Kornheiser at a Washington D.C. while eating sorbetto di Limone at a parlor. He made fun of my being vertically challenged and I commented on his baldness. -

No, you're just a regular douche who can't spell douche right. -
sherm03I've met several celebrities. I had a beer with Kurt Angle at CVG airport. I met Edinson Volquez at a Hooters. And I've worked with a few pretty famous comedians.
-
brutus161I've met quite a few in my day. Most recently Mick Foley and Reba (not at the same time, but would've been awesome if it had been).
-
gport_tennisI've played poker with Chris moneymaker and j.p. losman.

Mohican00Dave Attell came into the Eddie Bauer store at Easton this past February. He asked if we had any larger backpacks. We did not. He reeked of cigarettes.
I saw Clinton from 'What not to wear' walking down a street in Manhattan.
The band Incubus went canoeing in my hometown back in the 90's. Only caught a glimpse of them
I was on "It's Academic" twice - (Channel 5, Cleveland, quiz show for HS kids) so I met Don Webster. He was kind of a dick
That's all. Pretty weak list, I know -

Met Lou Rawls in an elevator at the San Francisco Hilton Hotel.
Was standing on a sidewalk next to the Washington Monument in DC when a black limo pulled up and Billy Bob Clinton stepped out to wave at everyone. Does that count? lol
Met Lisa Whelchel (Blair of the old sitcom Facts of Life) at a trade show in Anaheim, CA.

BigAppleBuckeyeTrue story, I once literally knocked over Dustin Hoffman at a bar in the Upper West Side of NYC ... he was totally cool about it and I helped him up and he laughed it off, really nice guy. Have also met Will Smith (when he was filming "I am Legend"), Kevin Smith (rode in the back seat of a car with him, he was our keynote at our annual conference), and Drea D'Mateo (Ariana from Sopranos). Have seen dozens of celebrities in NYC, ranging from Tim Robbins to Paul Rudd to Heidi Klum to Carmen Electra.

ohiobucks1Jon Voight eats dinner at my house every so often as has Liam Neeson. I've met the last 3 presidents as well as the 3 richest men in ohio, some friendly, some not. I met Lebron and Dwade last year at the OSU vs Duke game and Lebron on a yacht with his buddy Maverick and his gf/wife. Dwade had a friendly facade but Lebron is always douchey. Nice gf. Runs his empire. Met a bunch of OSU coaches including UM, Tressel, Jim O' Brian and Matta. Matta gave me his tie and Tressel a sweater vest from OSU vs ND game. Had dinner with Michael Owen once, he was injured then too. Got a high 5 from Ringo Star way back in the day and have a picture with Paul McCartney and whoever the drummer is of his band. Was most excited for the drummer. Got a kiss on the cheek from Mandy Moore and met all the bastards in Nsync. Those are my most memorable.
Hope that had a similar feel to a Dr. Heinz post.
