Because the charts are filled with pop country as it is. His music is the epitome of pop country.

The Cadillac Black who I think is now called The Cadillac Three has some good stuff.

I don't listen to much country anymore, but a couple of thoughts on previous posts.

Darius Rucker - Wagon Wheel: He butchered one of the greatest country songs ever performed. Listen to the Old Crow Medicine Show version (original). Hootie doesn't hold a candle to it.
Zac Brown Band: Is great. It's a mix of country, rock and reggae if you get into their albums. Just all around feel good music. Don't hate them just because they're more mainstream than you.

Skeeter Hatfield's "She's Lookin' For Me (in the wrong bars) Tonight" is instant country gold.

His previous release "Please, Just Stop Driving" was better.

I agree with Old Crow Medicine Show having the best version of Wagon Wheel

South Sudan is a newer country, and came into being in 2011.

Here's their anthem...a pretty lively ubeat song!

Not a new guy, but an unknown. Check out Jon Wolfe if you like King George.

Good stuff. Saw him live a few years ago. He put on a good show...except for all the hipsters in the drinking joint didn't know him and were just stupid.
