HIV a Cure for Cancer?

Interesting approach they are taking. I am still of the belief that cancer will never be cured, b/c big pharmaceutical won't let it happen. If it IS ever cured, I see another type of disease replacing it. Call me a dooms-dayer. But this approach is interesting, to say the least.

Yeah, big pharmaceuticals are the ones preventing a cure for cancer when they could sell said cure and make hella bank... :rolleyes: -

The concept of fighting cancer with a virus is awesome, and it's also amazing that they can do it without fear of actually acquiring HIV. -

I'm assuming they're doing it bc they are confident they can tackle the HIV if necessary? -

Or I guess it could just be a better disease than the alternative. I didn't really put much thought into it before the first post.

Chris Rock does a pretty funny bit on this concept. But logically you would make more money by treating someone for years rather than giving someone a cure. -

Seriously....ain't none of us getting out of this alive. Cure cancer and we'll suffer/die from something else. Big Pharm makes it one way or the other. -
