I'm guessing it doesn't end well for Walt.

Yeah, at this point, I can't picture Walt surviving..lol. I have a feeling that in a fit of rage he is going to choke out Skylar though!!

Do we need to have a Breaking Bad premier party à la our Arrested Development day? Thought I think it would just be you and me this time, lol.

Well the whole key is what will Hank do? From what I've read, the writers/creators have no intention of Walt walking away from this.

But I wouldn't rule out a Sorpanos-like ending. They had no intention of letting Tony Soprano escape life in prison, if not a horrible mob death. But instead they left it open (presumably for a future mini-series or movie), only "alluding" to what life would be like for Tony and that a hit was probably in his future.

The first 5 minutes of last season's episode one show that shit is going to get intense, especially when you see the final 5 minutes of the LAST episode of that same season.

    Super excited.

If they leave it open-ended, it could be interesting. I read a few months ago that they were talking about doing a Saul Goodman spinoff series. It would be cool to have Walt pop in from time to time.

Vince Gilligan has said there will be no Soprano's-like ending. He also stated that he cried while writing the final episode.

I think it's pretty obvious that WW will not survive the finale. I am ridiculously anxious for the this season to start.

Interesting. I think we all assume WW will not survive, but some alternatives are worse than death. I'm not sure killing WW would necessarily bring tears...although you can still take everything away from him, have that realization, and THEN kill him.

For example, Walt losing absolutely everything and one the run, with his death from cancer imminent...I don't consider that open-ended necessarily, and would be pretty sad/dramatic.

I didn't mean to imply that by VG crying that it means WW will die. It just seems like the only way to end the series, at least IMO.

Seeing how Hank's character has always behaved, I don't think there will be any kind of moral dilemma...he will go after Walt with everything he has...and Walt will defeat him. I am just waiting for Jesse's hand to be forced and he has to take out Walt or something like that.

I read the books. I won't spoil anything, but Walt goes down guns blazing, Jesse and Skylar start dating. Walt Jr. takes over the car wash and the "other business". Again, I read the books. I'm more gooder.
