STD's

If you had to live out the rest of your life with an STD, which would you choose?
  • ernest_t_bass
I'm choosing AIDS, since there's basically a cure.

HPV is the obvious one for me at first glance, being that its most commonly dormant in males.

However it seems it can be pretty nasty if the virus isnt dormant...
In addition, some strains of HPV in males can lead to cancer of the penis, anus, or throat.

Is HPV and genital warts similar, or of the same strand?

No idea. Hardly an expert in them, considering I've never had an STD. #virgin4lyfe

If you can pick one with a cure, then I'm going to choose Gonorrhea/Syphilis/Chlamydia because they are easily cured now.

According to a stat I heard (memory here) from the CDC, there were only a handful of STDs prior to the 1950's. We also had no condoms. Now that we have condoms, we are up to close to 25 STDs.

ps: other. aka: D) None of the above.

But the genes/strand is still dormant in your body, isn't it?

Those are bacterial. I'm pretty sure once they're gone, they're gone. (Not so sure that I would bang a chic that had one, but that's what I remember from biology)
