  Comedy: Dumb & Dumber
  Sports: Sports movies aren't worth watching over and over.

  Haha. Hemingway is my favorite author. He could wax poetically about whatever he wants for as long as he wants and I would probably like it.

  Old Man and the Sea is pretty slow. I'd try Farewell to Arms or The Sun Also Rises. But you'll probably just find you don't like his writing style. A lot of people are pretty polar about him. He was the reason I loved the movie Midnight in Paris, too.
