Kinda sad how desolate this shit hole looks. Never seen a site like this. So many run down buildings.

Only place that could possibly be worse than Detroit is Flint.

Detroit is a hell hole, but I would like to go to the Detroit Electronic Music Festival, aka Movement. It's supposedly one of the best.

No different than I ever remember it.

I read a story the other day saying that Detroit is broke and is very close to filing for bankruptcy. If they do, itll be the biggest city to ever do so.

Partially true. However, I remember being in Canton about 15 years ago and it seemed like the HOF at least kept half of the city around.

The last time I was there, I went through town about 3 PM on a weekday and I'm pretty sure it was the only thing open.

I went into a bad part of Detroit on accident about 5-6 years ago. It was mid afternoon on a summer day and I didn't see a single person or a single car. It was like a ghost town. I have never seen anything like that before it literally looked like a war zone

A good friend of mine who is a photographer used to go up to Detroit all the time to go on photo shoots. He said it was like going into the wilderness. He could literally go anywhere and in any building he wanted and only once in a while stumble into an animal or a crack addict.

He took some amazing pictures of the old Michigan Central Station. Even in its current dilapidated state, it's a beautiful building.

Good Detroit Fire Dept. documentary focusing on vacant buildings and arson. Shows how sad this city really is.

It hard to distinguish at times between Detroit and Sarajevo.

Near Greektown and Wayne State is ok.

    Awesome, watched it all

Those are spectacular photographs. They are almost like something straight out of I Am Legend. As big as the building is, it's very surreal to see it standing there, all by itself, with nobody inside. Kinda sad.

    Thanks for the link.

Detroit</SPAN> is a city that Democrat has run for years and you get what you support... mofo

If you told Detroit that the unemployment and welfare record of every individual would be investigated
If you told Detroit that all traffic violator and warrants would be enforced
If you told Detroit that all gang members, drug and present criminal conviction would get the maximum plus 3 years </SPAN>
If you told Detroit that all Union representation and contract in City Government was to be renegotiated </SPAN>
If you told Detroit at all back property tax and income tax was to be collected </SPAN>

If someone did that Detroit would prosper&#8230; But for now Detroit is a entitlement city, with entitlement people and entitlement mentality run by Democrat </SPAN>

16 Reasons Cleveland Is Not As Bad As You Think

    Cleveland has American heroes

They couldn't even come up with 16!!! Haha...they had to use "Cedar Point" as one? That's like 60 miles away!!! Haha.

    They should have went on:

#17 Cleveland is basically the home of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
#18 Cleveland is pretty much home to two NFL teams (Browns & Bengals) and two MLB teams (Indians & Reds).
#19 Just minutes down the road, catch a Columbus Blue Jackets NHL hockey game!
#20 The Ohio State Buckeyes are essentially here in Cleveland.
#21 Enjoy the beautiful beaches of Miami....just a hop & a skip away.

I don't agree that Cleveland is that bad....but that list is hilarious.
