Anyone ever been to Baltimore?

BigAppleBuckeyeAnyone ever been to Baltimore in the summer? My buddies and I are headed down June 13-16. We are 100% catching an Orioles-Red Sox game at Camden Yards, hitting the harbor, eating a lot of crab and probably hitting a legendary strip club or two.
Any suggestions? Restaurant or bar recommendations? Totally random, but is there any "outdoor scene" with a pool, margaritas, etc (doubtful I am sure)? Thanks! -
karen lotzFlew in to Baltimore last summer then took a train to DC for Braves/Nats. Would have liked to go to Camden but orioles were out of town I think.
This probably helped. -
Con_AlmaI used to live just outside of Annapolis. Spent quite a bit of time up in B-more. That was a long time ago, however. Wish I could be more help. Enjoy the trip.

Commander of AwesomeAwesome ballpark. Shitty city (IMO). Harbor area is pretty solid though.

ernest_t_bassDon't we have posters that live there, or close to there?

ZWICK 4 PREZCity sucks. Camden was nice.
Pretty much what COA said. -
Raw Dawgin' itBaltimore is great - I've never had a shitty time in Baltimore, but the harbor is the best place to go. Power Plant Live is a fun time and pretty much every bar in that area has a decent crowd.

Manhattan BuckeyeSay hi to Stringer Bell for me.
Seriously, have a great friend from Annapolis and is a HUGE Orioles fan. He says stay near the harbor and enjoy the professional sports. I haven't been there but have taken the DC-NYC Amtrak train which goes through western Baltimore. Yeah, that is a rough neighborhood. -

I imagine they are legendary, Baltimore being the crack capital of the US and all :laugh:BigAppleBuckeye;1437345 wrote:...and probably hitting a legendary strip club or two. -

Thanks for the tips everyone, keep them coming. If I HAVE to eat one place with great fresh crab and crabcakes, which spot is the MUST to check out? -

For crab cakes there are tons of good places near Fells Point: mamas on the half shell, koopers tavern, dudas, regis (in federal hill) are all really good places. -

I haven't finished the series yet -
Crimson streakI live about 45min-1 hr from Baltimore. Ive been there a few times. The aquarium is pretty cool. Camden is a must. I'm actually heading to the Baltimore Indians game there in a month or so. I know there is a Brazilian restaurant around the harbor that is all you can eat meats that is pretty pricy but crazy good. I can't remember what it is called though. There used to be a Phillips seafood buffet but I believe that closed.

Yeah that's it. Crazy damn good. Someone told me Phillips closed. The one in ocean city is 20 times better anyways -
ptown_trojans_1I usually head up from DC to see the O's a few times a year.
In addition to the Inner Harbor, for a fun gameday experience before the baseball game, check out Pickle's Pub right by the stadium, on the West Camdem side of things.
In that area is also the Babe Ruth museum, kind of neat.
As to the Harbor, yeah, Baltimore Live is pretty cool and so is near the Hard Rock Cafe. -
sportchamppsDamn you miss the Preakness by about a month and that's one of the best parties I have ever been to.

Azubuike24"Worked" that region for about 3 months to help another investigator. Awful, awful people to deal with. Some of the most ridiculous stuff I've ever heard.
Been there myself, twice, and was impressed though. Camden Yards is awesome. The harbor area is pretty cool as well. -
Shane FalcoI sat in a plane on the runway a few years ago for about an hr.... we never got off the plane on and
then we left. Seemed like the best option!
