Thanks for the invite but I have plans tonight.
And it's side yard pizza. -
hang_looseSorry you and your dad couldn't make it. Had to eat your pizza and drink your brews. Then a friend gave me a stringer full of crappies he was to tired to clean. The fillets are in my freezer now.... Hope you and your dad did good and had a good time. Enjoy your time with him now because you will never get it back.

You fellas use a fish fryer? What kind?hang_loose;1438696 wrote:Then a friend gave me a stringer full of crappies he was to tired to clean.
This thread makes me suddenly want to have a fish fry. -
hang_loosesaid_aouita, We just got another fryer this year. GE makes it (I'll get back to you with the model). Easiest fryer I've ever used. Thermostat and timer on it. Fish fillets, chicken, wings, shrooms, fries and even veggies (which I don't like).
I use peanut oil in mine.
McCormick makes a "Beer Batter Seafood Mix" that you wouldn't believe. Easy to use and you can season (hot) as much as you want to. I get mine at Kroegers in the seafood area. Throw your fries in after the fish,( cole slaw and some corn on the cob plus a couple cold brews on the side)......It doesn't get much better..... Now I'm getting hungry again! -
Gblocki lke to do mine with butter crisco and cornmeal... some franks red hot on standby and a cold one
-
hang_looseLJ, House is still blue and the fence is feeling blue! but pizza and brew are doing fine!!!
-
hang_looseSaid, still trying to find the model # of the fryer..... Best and easiest one I've ever used.
