Anyone been? Thinking of doing it fpr mothers day for my wife. But anyone have experience doing it? Is buying the pictures or video worth the outrageous price? They wont let you use your own gopro. Gay!

Anyway, im all for suggestions or tips.

I went a couple years ago while visiting my brother in AZ. By far one of the coolest things I have ever done. I would love to go again.

I got the pictures and he got the pics and the video. All of it came out very well. I would recommend getting the pictures at a minimum, but the video isn't that much more, and as I said, his turned out to be really good.

My instructor looked like a busted George Clooney, so that was fun, too.

Went back in the day when you had to jump out yourself instaed of being cornholed by an instructor on your back. First & second times were great, third time had a high speed entanglement of main chute and CO2 cartridge blew the packet on my reserve chute. Landed hard in a cornfield with broken arm and eye-socket. fast forward 35 yrs and last summer did the instructor on your back deal...kinda felt pussified after the jump on your own experiences.

Agreed. I have no desire to enter a training program or become licensed. I will do as many tandem jumps as I can (or that they will allow), but I am not jumping alone.

All I'm saying is if the chute dont open and you go the instructor strapped to your back route...your buddies have all of eternity to bust your chops about what you felt at the the moment of impact. And you know damn well they would do it everytime the story came up and beers were involved.

You want that kind of legacy? ...not me, no thanks.

You have EXTREMELY fucked up friends. Because its likely that you're dead and so I doubt it'd be a topic used for jokes.

"Man, the last thing ol' Bill probably felt was his instructor's dong going in his ass as his body was pulverized. Poor guy, he died a ghey!"

"Dude, this is his funeral...you're really upsetting his family...and get your fucking beer off the casket!"

    Been there. Done that.

I enjoyed it. But, I probably won't do it again. Cost too much.

I am terrified of heights. I'd probably faint as soon as I looked out of the plane and then it'd be a waste of several hundred bucks.

Wow! That's badass. I'm actually going to Hawaii next year on my honeymoon, I'd love to go skydiving there.

Do it. It's not even that expensive to jump. What gets expensive is buying the pictures or video.
