Would open scoring improve MMA fights?

ZombaypirateOpen scoring is when the fighters are told the score from the judges after the round is finished. Would this improve the entertainment value for MMA fights?

ZenI think there would be a lot less 3rd round knockouts or subs. If a guy won the first two rds he would likely not engage or almost run for the last five minutes. In closely contested fight the fighters have to go with what their corner is telling them, generally that they are down, and try to win in the third, when in fact they could be ahead 2-0. UFC wouldn't go to open scoring just because it generally doesn't make for more exciting fights.
Though I would like for them to announce the judges names, plus give a little history on how they score fights individually, but I can see the difficulty in that. -
sportchamppsZen MMA Junkie usually will give the judges names and how they scored other big fights for the judges assigned to main events

Really? Never been on their site. I usually check the MMAFighting app for updates/news/forums. Their forum is setup just like this one. Going to have to check it out...sportchampps;1431082 wrote:Zen MMA Junkie usually will give the judges names and how they scored other big fights for the judges assigned to main events -

Why would it? It made last night suck, Canelo knew he had it in the bag and basically played keep away. This is why fights in Texas suck though, the fight on Showtime's card and to my eyeballs looked pretty damn even, yet the judges all had massive wins in favor of Canelo. sportchamppsYeah the MMA Junkie app is really good and usually when the regulators name the judges and officials they will give a brief history of the way judges have scored fights before especially if they were involved in a controversial decision.
