Wrestlemania XXIX

  • End of Line
We had a thread for it last year, so why not this year. I'll be buying it as it's a massive pain in the ass to find a decent link.

I'd like to see Undertaker, Brock, and The Rock win but I'm guessing Cena will beat Rock.
  • hasbeen
    This still happens?
  • said_aouita
It would be awesome if Brock snaps, suddenly believes he's back in MMA and beats up all the actors.

WWE Champion The Rock vs. John Cena

Winner: John Cena (Rock then hibernates until next Wrestlemania)

    The Undertaker vs. CM Punk

Winner: The Undertaker's streak remains intact.

Triple H (w HBK) vs. Brock Lesnar (No Holds Barred Match; If Lesnar wins, Triple H must retire)

Winner: Brock Lesnar (via HBK costing HHH the win.)

World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio vs. Jack Swagger

Winner: Jack Swagger (Dolph then cashes in MITB briefcase to become new Champ)

Randy Orton, Sheamus, and Big Show vs. The Shield

Winner: The Shield (after a Randy Orton heel turn)

Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett vs. The Miz

    Winner: The Miz

    Ryback vs. Mark Henry

    Winner: Ryback

WWE Tag Team Champions Team Hell No vs. Dolph Ziggler and Big E Langston

    Winner: Team Hell No

    Chris Jericho vs. Fandango

Winner: Fandango (a loss would instantly destroy the build up he has been given.)

Tons of Funk and The Funkadactyls vs. Team Rhodes Scholars and The Bella Twins

    Winner: Team Rhodes Scholars

I'm ordering this as well, we do so every year...

Taker / Punk will steal the show

Rock / Cena will be entertaining (I want a Cena Heel turn but it'll never happen)

Orton turns Heel either during/after the match w/ The Shield

Fandango / Jericho will be a surprise "Wow" match

I'm looking forward to it. I don't like Cena, Del Rio, Punk, or Ziggler. I miss the true wrestling "characters."

I don't pay attention to WWE much, but I do enjoy it every once in a while. Taker looks strange without his hair.

It's a case of Vinnie Mac being terribly short sighted.

A good Cena heel turn would be a license to print money.

They may lose a few T-shirt sales which is the driving concern, but there is so much more they can do to freshen up the product with a heel Cena.

Have him win tomorrow night with a really cheap win and then turn on the fans. It would generate exponentially more buzz than a 'Cena conquers all" kind of win that leaves him getting booed out of the building.

Cena's already getting boo'd now even as the corporate babyface anyway, why not go all in?

Meanwhile a very pregnant Trish Stratus at tonight's Hall of Fame Ceremonies

Vince has said to be worried about how a Cena heel turn would affect things such as Make A Wish Foundation, etc, since he is by far the most requested.

I can name 5 of the 8 wrestlers on the first post.

    wrestling is stupid

    1. I too would love if Cena turned heel.

    2. I have to disagree. Fandango is one of those "wtf were you thinking" characters the WWE comes up with once in a while. His whole ring entrance is a joke and the build up he's been giving is a joke as well.

    Your website is stupid.

A Cena heel turn would be brilliant, would directly mirror the Hogan heel turn at Bash at the Beach.

I'd love to see this ending...

The 6 man tag match (Orton Show Shemus) gets a run in from a guy in black pants and a black mask, Shield destroys the babyfaces. WWE Title Match: Rock hits Cena with a Rock Bottom then a People's Elbow... 1... 2.... Shield. They attack the Rock and Rock starts to get the best of them, BOOM. Chair shot by Cena. Cena gets the pin then celebrates with the Shield, takes them mic and reveals he's been behind the Shield the whole time. ANARCHY. Gives WWE a HUGE heel for two years, and a free ride to build up any babyface they want by throwing the Shield at him (ala Sting).
  • osu45804
Or I could see Rock beating Cena & as Rock is celebrating, Cena snaps & turns Heel leading into a rematch at Extreme Rules

    And WM29 is ordered

TNA just did something similar to this with Aces & 8's. No way Vince goes that route.

Why wouldn't he? It's a pretty logical move if you ask me.

Because he's got too big of an ego to listen to the "you copied TNA" critics.

When was the last time there was an original wrestling storyline?

I get it. I like the idea too. We just know how Vince is. Especially when TNA did it just a month ago.

As a take off of the "things that made you feel old" thread. I find in many ways that wrestling at times makes me feel old. Being Wrestlemania season it made me think of Hogan/Savage and the Megapowers exploding. That was one of my favorite fueds of all time and as an 7 year old kid I was a huge Hulkamaniac and thought wrestling was totally real.

I find it hard to believe sometimes that that era with Hogan/Savage/Warrior/Rude was 24-25 years ago already. I know time flies. but man is it crazy to think all that was a quarter century ago when I can still vividly remember so much of it.

If anyone has an internet link to be able to watch it and could PM me I would greatly appreciate it.
