Former Tennessee Titans cheerleader charged with sexually assaulting 12 year old boy

    16 = So. - Jr. in HS
    12 = 6th - 7th grader
    I agree that there is a difference between a 12 and 16 year old both mentally and physically. But they're both the same in that it involved an older ex-NFL cheerleader having inappropriate sexual contact with "boy" that is against the law.

    Neither situation is acceptable.

    But you agree that one is "worse" than the other right? That was whole point of his statement.

    And the point of my statement is they are similar incidents (not the same in every exact detail).

    As far as which situation was worse? That's hard to balance here because of the differences in age, relationship between the victim and offender, extent of the contact, etc.

    Obviously with all else being the same and only difference being the age, it is easier to say that younger is worse. But the Bengals cheerleader had a position of authority and trust over the 16 year old boy. She was a teacher (we entrust our kids daily to teachers). Also, the Bengals cheerleader incident involved actual sex where this seemingly involves an attempt but no sexual activity.

    Kid is 12 years old. Just stop. That's by far worse.

    I agree, if everything else was equal. But it's not. The extent of what actually happened is a big determination into what is actually worse.

    In this situation the adult at worst (assuming the victim's story to be 100% true, and there is no reason to doubt this considering her pathetic excuse) propositioned him and touched him on the outside of his pants.

    In the other a teacher had actual sexual intercourse with the victim.

    Why are you analyzing this like it's a math problem? lol

    Sometimes it is appropriate to use logic when discussing things instead of insults, vulgar language, or argumentum ad nauseum.

    Yea but of course it depends on variable B and if the age is equal to the law (variable Y). Then when you figure int he constant (I'll always be a contraian) it actually really comes down to how the OC industrial complex is performing. Then when you factor in how the Warden (Justin) should want the OC to run smoothly and it should be easy to crack down on the inmates running the asylum. Really a much different case when you facot in all the variables its not even really that close. One is an asshat, the other is a normal human being who can discuss an event without having to get smug about it.

    Do the math!

That was a once in a lifetime shot for him most likely, and not only did he turn it down but he ratted her out to his mom.

    I remember being in school at that age, and heaven help that kid if his friends find out he was the one who turned this woman down and then had his mom call the police.

    His life will be unlivable as kids will tease him from now until the end of kingdom come. That is not an exagerration either.

    Either way the parents better start saving up for therapy because he will be a regular on some shrink's couch.
    Completely disagree. I don't care how mature a 12 year old boy is - a drunk, weird skank will freak you out. If anything he recognized a problem in the making and took care of it.

    Have to agree with this. I know that times have changed but, given the situation, I don't know too many 12 year olds who are Rico Suave and are going to say "let's go !"

    My only interaction with 12 year olds comes from coaching wrestling, but it's enough to know those kids aren't even close to being mature enough to want to bang a drunk adult woman.

    Age of consent. So it's not "the same."

    Who has insulted who in this thread? You are trying to dissect a chick trying to blow a 12 year old. It's quiet simple really.

    It's been a long time but when I was 12 years old the only things I thought about were the next time I was going fishing, whether I'd be pitching in the next Hot Stove game or whether I would be the future left tackle of the Cleveland Browns. Got to fish & pitch in the Hot Stove games. :D

    It's illegal because she was a teacher at the school he attended. The reasoning behind that is generally because they are in a position of power and trust over impressionable kids.

    And I never said it's the same. I said the situations were similar in the fact that it involved ex-NFL cheerleaders involved in inappropriate sexual situations with minors.

    I was discussing a hypothetical math problem. Didn't call him an asshat. I'll refrain from cussing in math problems going forward so no feelz are hurt.
