Glad u enjoyed her. Next time tho, can you pay in cash instead of trying to give her a combo of food stamps and fake bills. We all know that JJ isnt on the 4 dollar bill.

I'll do stuff like this periodically but, more often than not, it's for animals. I've given more than my share of strays a "forever" home.

Gave a dad and his kid outside the Schott scalping - two tickets to the OSU basketball game two weeks ago. They were Mezz tickets and later I saw the kid in line getting Cokes and he was telling his dad they were best seats ever. His dad bought me a beer.

A second grader at my school wrote a Christmas letter for his mom during art class and it said "I love you mom and don't worry that you can't afford us christmas presents" (shit I teared up typing it)

I went out and bought each of the 4 kids (all go to our elementary school) 2 toys a pair of pants and 2 shirts.

I was picking up some asian food from a take out place a few weeks ago. Was cold and dark, some older guy's (60's or so) truck was in the middle of the parking lot, and he looked like he was trying to push it but couldn't move it. I offered to help and pushed the truck into a spot so he could wait for a tow truck.

I was surprised though he didn't even thank me. Just got in his truck and sat.

Eh, I'm glad he didn't. I'm sure you were looking to get something out of it.

I adopted a cat from a shelter. I have more feels for animals than I do people. Probably because animals are loyal.

I did not end up buying anyone gas today. I dropped my dog off for his haircut and the lady in front of me was telling the lady to make it an extra nice cut because her dog had cancer and was being put down tomorrow. She said she was getting it groomed then taking it to a dog park tonight and then giving it a steak dinner before tomorrow. When the lady was out the door I made sure to pay for her dogs cut so that when she comes to pick her up it will be one less thing she has to have on her mind.

I think I'm going to start making sure to do something like this once a month.

Wasn't really an act of kindness.

They'd deserve it. Morons shouldn't have been eating donuts in the first place.

The one that comes to the top of my head was I was getting gas around 11 at night about 3 years ago and could hear a young kid talking to his Mom and telling her he was on empty and didn't have the money to make it to Lexington so they were trying to figure out how to get him home. I just went over while he was on the phone and swiped my card and said I'll take care of it. He kept wanting to get my address to send me money and I told him it's all good.

Honestly one of the best feelings I've ever had and it was only $25 or so but it made a big difference to him. Good thread, love doing little acts of kindness. Nice to read things other people have done too.
