Secrets

  • ThePatriot
So, one of my Facebook friends shared a video from someone else's feed and I took a look at it. Now, I've never seriously considered the subject matter as it was just something that never interested me. However, I was bored last night so I watched this 2 hour long vid of ex-military personnel with significant levels of security clearance testify that they have witnessed UFO's and ET's make contact.

After some research as to the background of this video I found this conference was held before members of the media in an effort to get themselves eventually taken seriously enough to address congress in order to get this info released to the public. All of these men and women stated they would be happy to and wanted to make these testimonies to Congress.

I've got to say it seemed legit to this skeptic. I think we all know the government keeps secrets but do you believe that the government is keeping this secret (that we have made contact with 57 species of Intelligent ET life , according to one man in the vid)?

The project is known As the Disclosure Project if you wanna check out their vid on YouTube or elsewhere.

Edit: wasn't sure how to post links when I made the thread but we'll see if this is how.

See The Rendelsham Forest Incident for a credible military experience.

I don't necessarily believe in aliens but I am open to the possibility

I believe because I saw a UFO. I was only around 9 or 10 at the time and was being watched by my 20 year old brother and his future wife when all three of us saw a weird aircraft hovering about 5 stories high right in front of my house and then vanish in seconds. I was so scared I got sick. I'm not sure if it was aliens or some kinda military plane but it wasn't anything I had seen before or since. It was actually shaped like a hexagon or octagon and just hovered for about 10-15 second before just disappearing. All three of us saw the same thing.

I know you all will think I'm crazy but it's the only time I've ever experienced anything like this and I don't believe any many things lIke this

I'm not going to say you're crazy, but.......

As for the topic, when/if the government or whoever wants to admit they've made contact with extra terrestrials, then I might be closer to believing. In the mean time, I'm not sure if I believe it or not.

Universe is way too vast for us to be the only intelligent (huh) life out there. As to whether or not they are visiting our planet, doubt it. Although, there could actually be a planet capable of supporting alien life around Proxima Centauri and we just haven't found it yet. Little over 4 LY away, that puts alien life visiting Earth in the realm of possibility.

According to some astronomers, 13 LY is the closest you could expect to find alien life, so given that distance aliens visiting us in one person's lifetime is not unreasonable. Why they would want to is anyone's guess.

My neighbor and I had bi-weekly campfires 2 summers ago. We always talked about UFO's and alien life. One night we saw a light flicker on out of nowhere right in front of our eyes, seconds later another one running parallel. They moved in unison forward for about 15 seconds...then one "flickered" out...seconds later the other "flickered" out. They stayed in the same exact path moving at a high rate of speed.

I had literally just gotten over there and cracked open a beer. I got up, feeling sick to my stomach like you, and said I just wanted to go home. I felt like after seeing that I needed to be with my family instead of drinking beer in the back yard. It was the oddest thing I've ever seen....and we sat out so much, I never saw anything like that again.

This is the best, most logical statement regarding alien life. I agree whole heartily. I don't believe in ghosts, bigfoots, maybe even a "superior" being....but aliens just make sense.

Sounds like some of you need to put down the bong.

The thing is I never paid much attention and always figured the universe is so vast there had to be intelligent life but probably not capable of finding us. However this video I linked is full of people who all seem hella credible. I suggest you guys to a look at, the very least, some of it. Their willingness and desire to testify under oath in front of congress says a lot IMO.

If what these folks' testimony is true, our reality is vastly different than what we know.
  • SportsAndLady
Oh they're hella credible? That changes things
  • justincredible
I absolutely believe in other intelligent life out there and would not be surprised at all if they have visited. I've never had any UFO experiences but I certainly don't discount those that claim they have as crazy.
  • sportchampps
Haha what's funny about seeing it is I think I was crazy that night or something but it's something I'll never forget and probably never know the answer too.

The only thing I seriously doubt is that our, or any, government could keep it all covered up for 50+ years. People are, generally, idiots, and something as big as extraterrestrial life would not keep quiet (apart from a few fringe people) for long IMO
  • dlazz
I'm betting most of the "UFO" experiences are just the US Government testing top secret stuff and keeping their mouths shut about it.

I'm just not sure what these old guys would have to gain from making these public testimonies and requesting to go before congress to try and get these things released to the public. Anyone watch the video? I'm interested to know if anyone else thinks this looks legit.

I used to chalk this stuff up to human advance myself. But it's the other info now that's got me wondering.

Let me see if I follow. You were outside in the middle of the night drinking around a campfire while talking about UFOS. Then you saw a UFO. Lol.

Will have to spread some cheer before I can rep this, but it must be repped.

I'm not sure what's going on in here, but it's hilarious.

I see your point, but I think that's underestimating the power of fear and the ability of the powerful to intimidate and control subordinates.

I have no doubt somewhere out there is intelligent life but I agree there's not much chance they could keep it secret.
  • ThePatriot
I get the secrecy thing and being unable to keep that secret at first. But, c'mon guys. Do you really believe we've seen more than the tip of the iceberg of what goes on deep within the government and military? Not even with regard to this particular issue but just in general.

There has got to be an unbelievable amount of classified info that the public has no idea of. Hell, I remember hearing a few times that a couple recent presidents asked for and denied access to information that was classified. It's not like just anyone is getting this knowledge and then even less than that will disclose it at some point in their lives. Therefore, you've got a low number of folks making claims and thus it just appears to be some fringe conspiracy.

Anyone else watch any of the video? I'd like to see if anyone thinks these guys seem credible.
