    for you tree huggers...San Francisco Bay makes a K-cup without the plastic. It has a mesh design that works in Keurigs. The coffee is pretty good, but it is just now making it's way to shelves.

    The beauty of the Keurig is that it makes one really good and consistent cup of coffee. It'll save you money if you use it to make that ONE cup of coffee that you want...if you are going to drink several cups, MAKE A POT.

    an answer to whoever said that it doesn't fill travel mugs.... buy a very bold roast like Emeril's Big Easy Bold, and run it through a second time using the 'small cup' button. That way it'll make a solid cup and a half.

    Yes I do: This Ecobrew reusable Keurig K-cup is great for brewing your own coffee. It seems to have been very well designed and is easy to use. One of the things I felt bad about when I bought my Keurig coffee maker was the fact that although it was a great convenient coffee maker... it does tend to produce lots of waste when you buy the disposable k-cups. I think this product also ends up saving you lots of money in the long run too. K-cups can be quite expensive. For best results, I like to reheat it in a skillet, but I will drink it cold. I really love this product and I really can't find anything bad to say about it. There is another product called the Solofill that essentially does the same thing but is made from another company. I own both products and if you're curious to how they stack up against one another, check out the paragraph below. You may want to do research to make sure that your Keurig coffee maker is compatible with the EcoBrew or Solofill. I know that some K-cup coffee makers are not compatible with these products. I own the MR. Coffee single K-cup coffee maker and can say that it's compatible with both of these products. If you want to know more about the Mr. Coffee Keurig coffee maker, feel free to read my review on that as well :)

    Just recently got a Keurig B40. I'd hold off buying her any k-cups from the jump. The model you buy will probably come with a sampler package, and that way she can figure out which ones she likes best and then you can just get that one.

    We use the Solofill reusable K-cup so we don't HAVE to buy the k-cups. I haven't had issues with sediment in my coffees so far, and it makes a pretty good cup.

    I would stay away from Keurig's My K-cup because in most models you have to take apart the holder on the inside to use it. The Solofill doesn't require you to take the machine apart.

    I just run hot water thru the machine to make my oatmeal in the morning.

    I was in the progress of making the post before I saw justin's warning. Thanks for giving me the benefit of the doubt, I'll keep that in mind in the future. I did post some useful information for you since you have concerns about the environmental impact of keurig cups.

    Starbucks Cafe Verona - it's the dark roast and best cup i've had for a K cup. Can get 54 cups at costco for $34. I also buy Newmans Own. I bought 160 cups for $70 at costco.

    I like the donut house, and the Starbucks ones. The donut house tastes exactly like Dunkin donuts. As someone mentioned earlier I use the my k-cup thing and use 8'oclock coffee

    Maybe if you are over 30. Most people under 30 are lucky to have jobs that barely pay enough to cover their student loans much less buy expensive coffee machines.

    It is great for my house because my wife really likes flavored coffee, while I prefer the basic coffee. This allows us to each have what we want without having to make an entire pot that one of us isn't going to like.

    It's also nice because my wife works some crappy hours. A few days a week, she doesn't have to be at work til 12. So I wake up at 7:30, and start the coffee pot, and by the time she wakes up, the pot is old and gross and she has to make new coffee. Now I can make a cup for myself when I wake up, and she can make a cup for herself when she wakes up and there's no hassle.

    Flavor of the month? Been extremely popular the last few years. Basically you buy prepacked coffee cups with individual servings. They come in any flavor imaginable and you pop the little cup into the machine, put your cup under it and it brews a cup of hot coffee in a matter of seconds.

    Basically this. I think I've had mine for about 3 years now. I love it and use it every morning before work. Mine actually broke on me after a year and I called keurig and told them my problem and they said to send the brewer piece in the machine and they sent me a brand new keurig and even upgraded it to the next size. I was really surprised by it.
