Best Seasoning?

SnotBubblesI don't know why, but I prefer garlic. My wife thinks I'm a fool, especially when I made her scrambled eggs with it.
I made this tonight...it was absolutely amazing. Seriously, tasted like something you could have gotten at a nice restaurant.
She complained because I used garlic to season the shrimp, mushrooms and steak. -
SonofanumpGarlic is tasty and very good for you. I approve except I can not eat fungus.

like_thatLove garlic, just gotta be careful with it. That smell can still with you for days if you eat a lot of it.

EnforcerGarlic is good, but give Me Cayenne Pepper over Garlic

I sometimes marinate my chicken with olive oil, garlic, AND cayenne pepper. I recommend it. (add some cumin too)Enforcer;1360360 wrote:Garlic is good, but give Me Cayenne Pepper over Garlic -

It was a tad dry, but nowhere near leather (I see why you think that, but I think the seasoning on the outside of it gives it that look in the photo). My wife and boys like their steak well done...instead of splitting time on the meat, I just eat it that way when I make it at home.se-alum;1360440 wrote:Love garlic. Curly JWe tend to use a lot of garlic. Fresh garlic. The Wife uses Lowry's at times and also makes up a batch of Emeril's Essence. Good Cajun seasoning.

Fab4RunnerI use Spicy Montreal on steak and burgers and lemon pepper on chicken.
I do like fresh garlic, but I rarely have it on hand.
The other day I found a copycat recipe for Jack Daniel's sauce from Fridays so I plan to make that and try it on some different stuff soon. I love it on their chicken. -

How hard is it to wait 5 minutes before putting your steak on the grill?SnotBubbles;1360751 wrote:It was a tad dry, but nowhere near leather (I see why you think that, but I think the seasoning on the outside of it gives it that look in the photo). You cook it on the stove, or grill it?SnotBubbles;1360751 wrote:It was a tad dry, but nowhere near leather (I see why you think that, but I think the seasoning on the outside of it gives it that look in the photo). Belly35This depends on the dish and the preparation. </SPAN>
Garlic is always a good standard but not a fix all for everything. Generally a combo of spices and herbs is required to bring out the best of what is being prepared. Freshness is important when dealing with cooking spices and herbs. It would be difficult for me to pin point just one as my favor however when making salads a little dash of Sumac really changes the salad. You can’t make a Fattoush salad without it…</SPAN></SPAN></SPAN>
IMO</SPAN></SPAN> Ground Sea</SPAN></SPAN> salt does more to enhance flavors that anything </SPAN></SPAN> -

I cooked that on the stove. Generally I grill it though. I was being a ***** last night and didn't want to go shovel the grill out.ernest_t_bass;1360815 wrote:You cook it on the stove, or grill it? -
Classyposter58I bought this seasoning in the store for $3 and it's 4 meat seasonings, Char Broil, Texas Grill, Kabob and Cajun
