Great Pizza Heist of 2012..whats the likely story?

  • thavoice
Drove through a carryout to order a pizza yesterday. No one on God's green earth knew about it other than myself and the girl at the carryout. It was to be 30 min so I went to the grocery. I go back 30 minutes later and this is the conversation.
ME: Here to pick my pizza up.
HER: _____ said the guy came through and already picked it up.
ME: Uh, No. I ordered a half hour ago and have not been back.
HER: Let me know, I know ____ said that they guy just came through a few min ago to pick it up.

A guy comes out of the kitchen and says to me: Hey, YOU ordered the pizza for pickup? THere was a guy who just came in and said he ordered it, had it paid for and picked it up.

This worker geniunely seemed stumped at what just happened.

Do ya think this really happened or they just forgot the order? I would think the latter but both workers seemed stumped at what just happened!

    They fucked up.

My first year coaching we ordered $445 worth of team sales t-shirts. I coached 75 miles from where I lived. I ordered these shirts in town where I live. I stopped in about 3 Fridays later and she said to come back the next Friday at 5:00 and they'd be ready. I arrived a few minutes early and she immediately asked me "How did you like the shirts?...didn't they turn out great?"

WHAT? This idiot woman tried to convince me that someone from my school stopped by got the shirts and paid for them. I was the only person from my school who knew where the shirts were being done. This place obviously didn't stay in business very long....though I now assume they had some decent drug deals.

To top it off, that same evening (2 hours later) she's selling game ball tickets at the local high school game and asks me if I want to buy!!! I just told her I already bought some.

I would think that if they just plain forgot it they woulda made up some excuse like they burnt it badly or whatever. I think it happened like they said because when teh girl first came out the look on her face was maybe I forgot something and the guy who said he gave it away was acting like it happened as well.

anywyas...was kinda funny. Got it for half price then!

Do you think maybe the guy in the back was banging the girl you gave the order to, and maybe you interrupted them in mid thrust? Just a thought.

Answer: your wife's boyfriend picked them up and paid with cash from your OL's purse. Right next to you balls.
  • se-alum
Did they not ask your name when you ordered it?

Yeah...but there was only one pizza back there for pickup and the worker gave it to him. I asked if maybe they gave the wrong pizza and I would just take his but that wasnt the case.

    was I Wear Pants working?

If its a chain maybe the guy went to the wrong store to pick it up.
  • thavoice
No chain. Just a little local restuarant that just happens to have a drive through.
