What not to do at 63

Sled ride at Malone college hill.
Our family thought it would be great to go sled riding.
So we all load up, I dug out the 8 man toboggan, and the other sleds I could fine.
The grand kids had a great time, my daughters and wife ( wife just watched smart women) also enjoyed the event.
However I was not impressed. The first ride down the hill I found the drop off, took on air and the dropped 6-8 feet, landed hard, ever vertebra I hear and felt crack, rolled and tumbled more times then I can remember.

This morning I can't move, straight up and moving like an old man.... This what hell is like.

Have you gone sled riding this year? Where?

    Lol

My daughter at age 15 went down a huge hill and came back up the hill looking like Rambo in First Blood.

Went on some property I own on Pike Hill. At the top, not real steep, after about 50 feet it hits a really steep section for about 80 feet, then a tree line and well not vertical drop but darn near close. My kids, 9, 6, and 3 were pretty much staying near the top. My wife stood at the bottom to make sure they didnt hit the tree line. Finally, my kids talked me into going down, of course I have to show off. Took a running start, hit that first drop and the last thing I remember is my wife screaming, roll off! lol I can still hear my neck cracking and popping as I rolled over several times. I spent 40 minutes in the hot tub, and several pain killers later I fell asleep last night. Dont feel so bad today, but stiff.

I'm no longer a child, thus haven't gone sledding this year.

If anyone has ever ate at Castle's Mixins n Fixins in Westville, behind it is an awesome sledding hill.

At least 40-50 meters long. Fairly steep too. Occasionally drifts would be large enough to allow sleds to jump the farm fence at the bottom.
