Been chatting it up with some of my weatherman contacts, as of today it looks like 10"+ for CLE, 5"+ for DAY, 2-4" for COL with potentially more as the city may be sitting on the freezing line all day, 7"+ for TOL. Of course this far out it is bound to change but the forecast models are zeroing in on this onegerb131;1349533 wrote:Anywhere in Ohio is fair game at this point but IMO 71 will be battle ground always is. -

TY for this. Good to know we will be getting a light dusting if anything. I wouldn't be surprised to see it hit 60 the whole week seeing a prediction like you posted.Classyposter58;1349599 wrote:Been chatting it up with some of my weatherman contacts, as of today it looks like 10"+ for CLE, 5"+ for DAY, 2-4" for COL with potentially more as the city may be sitting on the freezing line all day, 7"+ for TOL. WebFireI love how every single storm, the weather nuts get excited over models 5-6 days out. They never pan out the way they look that far out. 2 days ago we were looking at 6-12" across the whole state.

Still in the cards. Just depends on sampling etc...which wont be until late tonight. I will say that models been all over so this one tough to nail down.WebFire;1349614 wrote:I love how every single storm, the weather nuts get excited over models 5-6 days out. I had to stop tracking storms because of it though. I'd get excited for a bunch of snow and then be lucky to get an inch. Last I look it look liked snow in northern ohio, but only the 3-5" variety.gerb131;1349662 wrote:Still in the cards. Just depends on sampling etc...which wont be until late tonight. Ahh so we've got some weather people in here. I'll say this, the NAM has been the outlier on this sytem so far, Euro on the other hand has been very consistent and I will say the stronger this storm is, the more west and north it will go. Sad thing for snow fans in Columbus is that they're looking at getting almost an inch of rain at 35 degrees. Just 3 degrees cooler and Columbus has 10" easygerb131;1349662 wrote:Still in the cards. ts1227The NAM generally sucks IMO

Midstate01Looking at Chris Bradley from channel 10's fb page. Just 4 hours ago he was saying 6+ inches still for central Ohio. Then an hour ago his tune changed and now he's thinking freezing rain or ice. With some snow mixed in. I really really don't wanna see an ice storm. That'd completely ruin our trip home.

35 and rain is something I do not want. -
