Eagle picks up kid

In Philly they booed the Eagle for fumbling.

    Wow!

LOL. Someone updated the Wikipedia page for Golden Eagles...
Golden Eagles use their agility and speed combined with extremely powerful talons to snatch up a variety of prey, including rabbits, marmots, ground squirrels, and large mammals such as babies[SUP][2][/SUP], foxes and young ungulates.[SUP][3][/SUP]

    Crazy!

The coolest thing I've seen in nature was in Ely, MN. A seagull dove into the water for a fish and on its way back up a eagle came and grabbed the seagull.

    There's always something bigger and badder--unless you're a Grizzly bear ;)

I saw a Salmon once catch a worm....as it was catching it an eagle grabbed the salmon with the worm still in it's mouth....as the eagle was trying to fly up from the stream a grizzly bear grabbed all three....next thing I know a giant T-Rex ate them all whole. Craziest fucking thing I ever did see...all right here in beautiful Bellefontaine, Ohio. True story.

Do you get your weed from this guy?

That's pretty amazing. Could have been real bad had the eagle not dropped him right away. Can you imagine looking over and seeing an eagle carrying your kid away?
  • sleeper
Gosh a ruddies, eagles lusting for the taste of raw infant flash.
  • gorocks99
Probably only dropped the kid because he was wearing that coat. Had the kid been in a tshirt, gone.

    That is one massive bird.

The cameraman needs some extra training...you NEVER quit filming the incident. There's nothing exciting about watching the ground.

I can't help but feel like if someone in that park had a CCW permit the entire situation could have been prevented.

Anyone remember the old computer game, like I mean from the 80's, called The Oregon Trail?

Nephews downloaded a new version of it a couple of years ago and they added into the game with all the diseases like typhoid and such.....an eagle taking your baby.
Thought it was stupid...guess not too far from the truth!

Yeah, that thing was HUGE. Still impressive as hell to pick that kid up off the ground.
