Electric Razors
-
like_thatAnyone use an electric razor? I bought this one a few months ago http://www.amazon.com/Braun-3Series-340S-4-Wet-Shaver/dp/B004UQ6Q62/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1354928101&sr=8-1&keywords=braun+340s-4 (no I didn't pay 80 bucks for it sleeper). Anyway, despite the good reviews, I am very disappointed in its performance.
Anyone have any good recommendations? -
GoChiefsI got this one last Christmas. Phillips Norelco. It's great as long as I don't go more than 2 or 3 days without using it.

Is it only a wet shave, or can you do a dry shave as well?GoChiefs;1338280 wrote:I got this one last Christmas. Phillips Norelco. It's great as long as I don't go more than 2 or 3 days without using it.

Mohican00man, I've never had any luck with electric. They fuck up my neck

I only use it dry. -

I'm amazed they even exist in 2012.Mohican00;1338285 wrote:man, I've never had any luck with electric. They **** up my neck -

Same here. That razor will fuck my neck up on Monday mornings. Other than that, I love it. -
gutjust as an FYI, be sure to clean the blades regularly and replace...like a brand new razor when you replace the cutter
Also, I tend to find a good electric razor is easier on my neck than a blade -
hangonsloopyCan't stand blades. I've used electric for as long as I can remember. Much easier.

Ironman92I can't get every part of my neck and not as clean as a razor.
-
SonofanumpI go with Phillips mid-range every few years.

I Wear PantsDE safety razor.

ernest_t_bassI use both. Dry shave with electric, then follow up with blade.

OSHMach3, for the head.

Commander of AwesomeHate electric. Hell I hate shaving period, so I stopped. Just trim it with my hair clippers so I have a permanent 5 o clock shadow.
-
RotinajI just use a regular razor. My food stamps wont pay for that fancy electic mumbo jumbo.

This is pretty much what I do. My hair clippers came with a little trimmer and that's what I use on my face. -
vball10setBest. Shave. Ever.

piracetemi love the norelco brands, especially the newer ones with lithium ion

Weird. I do the opposite. I can't get my neck clean with a blade (without getting serious razor burn), so I usually follow-up with the electric.ernest_t_bass;1338361 wrote:I use both. Dry shave with electric, then follow up with blade. -
I Wear Pants
I'll probably make my way to that eventually. Don't want to spend anymore money getting a razor a strop right now though so the double edge it is.vball10set;1338407 wrote:Best. Shave. Ever.

sportchamppsMake sure you get one wih the three circle blades and not like the Braun you had. I usually by a mid range one every other year. If you get razor burn by a product called cool face it pretty much eliminates it
