137 rounds = $137.00 money well spent

    137 rounds = $137.00 in ammo

Court cost, legal fees, lawyers cost, judges cost, prosecutors cost, time, paper work, officers off duty and the list of public tax payer money potentially spent is over whelming to bring justice to career criminals

I think $137.00 is a barging Thank you Cleveland Police for spending the tax payer money correctly.
Also a great way to get rid of old ammo in real time training.

add about 4 zeros to that and you'll have what it's going to cost Cleveland when they're sued.

I have no idea of the facts or the result of the investigation, but if a vehicle is being used as a weapon, I have no problem with an officer of the law defending his life by firing into said vehicle until that vehicle stops threatening the officers life.

Good ole Belly, rejoicing at people being killed. I don't care what this person did that Belly gets so giddy at death is disturbing.

Tridents not a barging though. It not good spending of tax payer moneys.

Good ole IWP there is no wrong just poor judgment on those who are right :D

I have respect for life I just don't have respect for those who attempt to take it from others. The only feeling I have for those who don't respect my life, my family and others is the recoil. :)

Just to be clear here, if one engages in a vehicle chase with police at high speeds and is aggressive in that endeavor then they can anticipate being shot. The people yelling racism in this instance are idiots.

Only criticism I can really have here is that I'm not a fan of high speed pursuits as they are pretty likely to end in death for either police, the perp, or a bystander. But they were there and I wasn't so...

Fact: Stop means Stop, Flashing Police light means pull over, High Speed pursuit means breaking the law, Past criminal record means potential dangerous individual, Resisting Police warning means bad decision mofo ...... Those are the facts those Police witnessed. Everything after that is a spontaneous reaction to a situation. </SPAN>

Fact: Police officer said he saw a man aiming a gun out the back window.

    Fact: Police opened fire

    Fact: suspects had no gun

Fact: Cleveland will get sued out of their asses

Honestly unless it's a situation where it's like someone who was just seen mowing down people in a mall or something it's probably more practical in most situations to not give chase but rather use surveillance to keep tabs on them. Helicopters are pretty accessible and such. I mean, I just hate seeing when someone robs a convenience store or something and then there's a high speed chase that results in the death of a cop, a bystander, or even the thief. None of those people need die. It's getting to the point really where we can pretty much find people with cameras and such so it seems kind of reckless to give chase. It's similar to the position some precincts have in regards to motorcycle chases. They don't do it because the outcome is almost always death for someone.

Again, it's a situational thing but I think we're getting to the point where we don't really need to give a high speed pursuit for everyone who runs as we'll get them anyway.

I think that "Person of Interest" is a pretty cool show, but do not believe that it exist the technology to keep tabs on people without some type of mobile monitoring.

How readily available are helicopters for urban pursuit?

Or some of us can carry weapons, drop the rob of the convenience store on the side walk and no chase has to happen. :D

Sonofanump may I remind you this is IWP he plays video games so reality is a little distorted. The real world doesn't compute yet. :D

Helicopters, high elevation surveillance, robo cops and extra life with every 2000 kills oh my!

First off, helicopters are very real and used for even such mundane tasks as giving speeding violations so that's a bad point for you to criticize.

Secondly, wtf are you on about with "high elevation surveillance". I didn't say anything about that and don't even know what that would entail, putting cops on Everest and K2?

So says the guy who just advocated that people like him should carry guns so they can take out robbers as they run out of the store. Call of Duty much?

You sick mofo...... So you asume that just shot first, that wrong, drop to the side walk is not a indication of shooting anyone. If I holding a gun and tell, sorry "DEMAND" you to drop to the ground you will drop... Option are not given ... . Run or advance now the career criminal will drop harder again option are not given .

Pretty sure if you pulled a gun on someone who was robbing a place they would not drop to the ground.... they would either pull out a gun themselves endangering your life and others around you. Or they would run.

Belly, I think if you held a gun at me and demanded I'd drop to the ground, the only thing I'd be thinking is the total fear a person feels when they realize their life may be taking an abrupt turn towards the Deliverance side of life. And I'd choose death over squealing like a pig all seven days of the week.

Couldn't they just jump to the side your eye patch is on so you couldn't see them? :D
