Best theme/intro to a tv show
-
gutSomething about Boardwalk Empire with Nucky standing with his shoes in the water is just really cool.
But what are the best? Sopranos always got me pumped for that show, and still does even on repeats. Of course there's Cheers. But The Wire was a pretty cool intro, too.
I'd have to go with Sopranos. Not sure anything else really comes close. Well, Vegas (not the new one) with Elvis singing was top-notch, too. Might throw Southland into the mix, also. -
reclegend22Always loved the intro to House MD. Although simple, "Teardrop" by Massive Attack was a great instrumental and moving when paired with the theme's opening shot into Greg House's enigmatic eyes. I'm a huge House fan, though.
Also always loved the intro to Dawson's Creek when growing up. It was one of my favorite shows in middle school. -

This was my mother's favorite show while I was growing up (during the George Clooney years). Heard this every single week. Brings back vivid memories of my childhood.Classyposter58;1313610 wrote:I always liked the ER intro -

Must-See TV. The saying is cliche, but they really don't make 'em like they used to. Some of that is nostalgia, but the '90s really were the greatest. And don't even get me started on the NBA on NBC. I could cry thinking about that. And every time I hear Roundball Rock, I do. Ruining the production value of the NBA is one of the reasons "SportsCenter" is no longer my favorite "show," as it was growing up. I f------ hate ESPN.Classyposter58;1313639 wrote:That's when NBC was on top of the world. The Frazier, Seinfeld, Friends, ER days were unreal -
