Arrogance comes to mind. Dominance is just a perk.thavoice;1302942 wrote:I could see how a team who plays them alot would get pretty mad at the private dominance -

reclegend22High School: Toledo St. John's (followed Scott loyally during tournament time when younger ... Joe Suboticki and Bulldog fan in general), Africentric (it's not a school; it's a Rastafarianism)
NBA: Bulls (As a Pacers fan, I will never get over the '98 conference finals. Chicago literally came like a thief in the night and stole Game 7)
College Football: Ohio State
College Basketball: North Carolina, Ohio State, Connecticut, Al Skinner's Boston College teams, Seth Greenberg's Virginia Tech teams (that dick's a fucking dick)
Universities: Ohio State
People: Ohio State -

First off, Sub accumulated over 400 victories and three state championships. So whatever happened at St. Francis is pretty much irrelevant; although Sub did have some state-ranked teams there, if I remember correctly.vball10set;1303032 wrote:lol, Sub worked out well at SFS, didn't he?
I was more just talking about Suboticki's first few years at Scott, which, with regard to City League and tournament success, were some of the more memorable in Bulldog history outside of the Ben Williams era. Among those highlights included a trip to regionals in 2005, after an upset of state-ranked St. John's in Savage Hall in the District Finals (one of the best high school games I've ever been to) and a City League championship in 2006. He was a good coach. -

To do what he did at Scott, yes, he was a good coach....and from what I recall, he liked the cheerleaders as wellreclegend22;1303052 wrote:First off, Sub accumulated over 400 victories and three state championships. Haha I figured that is what you were aiming at. I recall that scenario, though kind of vague on remembering specifics, but I am assuming he liked the cheerleaders from the catholic school and not the ones from Jesup Wakeman? Certainly intresting.vball10set;1303275 wrote:To do what he did at Scott, yes, he was a good coach....and from what I recall, he liked the cheerleaders as well -

LOL, I had to bring it up. I agree with you though that he's a helluva coach, and his records at various schools bears this out.reclegend22;1303295 wrote:Haha I figured that is what you were aiming at.
