I have two friends that has done this. They tried to add me and I sent them a message telling them how gay they were and how they would have to redo the page in a few years once the dog died.sherm03;1275381 wrote:...created a Facebook or Twitter account for your pet, and you post updates as if you were said pet, I hope that pet turns on you and kills you in your sleep.

BORIStheCrusherI will admit that I have one for my daughter who is 6 (and got it when she was 2). She's only 'friends' with family members and close friends of ours who know her. I did it because we have lots of family that lives out of town and it's an easy way for them to see her grow up and know what's going on in her life. I'm willing to bet her wall has a lot less bs than the dumb shit most people post on fb. But I agree if you have an account for your pet you should kill yourself.

You couldn't create a folder of pictures of just her and get the same result?BORIStheCrusher;1275673 wrote:I will admit that I have one for my daughter who is 6 (and got it when she was 2). That's what most parents do, I have folders for each of my 3 boys with pictures from when they were babies until now. None of them have their own FB, and the oldest is now 11. -

That's what I was thinking. I know I have my family on my facebook. So they would see the pictures on mine.jmog;1275726 wrote:You couldn't create a folder of pictures of just her and get the same result?

The majority of my pictures on my account are of my kids. I thought if one was focused on my daughter close family would appreciate it more, don't see what the harm is. I'm able to post things there that my friends wouldn't give a shit about, but family might like and would respond back to. That's great that your 11 year old doesn't have one, I'm not sure when I'll actually let my daughter use it but when I do she'll use this one so I'm sure she'll be responsible.jmog;1275726 wrote:You couldn't create a folder of pictures of just her and get the same result?

I'm not sure I ever want to see a picture of a "future kid"!!!!!justincredible;1275764 wrote:Yeah, I'll be using dropbox to share pics of my (future) kids with family. -
IliketurtlesI agree. Having one for a kid isn't too terrible but like others have said just put the pictures on your own facebook. As for having one for a pet thats just plain dumb. I also can't stand those people who when they get married they get a joint facebook.
-
AutomatikFB for a toddler, a pet or joint account.
All equally strange. -
vball10setNo, I have not, nor will I ever.

Commander of AwesomeCrynasty has one of his dog. Full of pics of his dog wearing sunglasses... talk about lolfail. Not surprised he'd have one though, no doubt zwick does/will for his pets. Surprised he doesn't have one for his golf score actually.
