GoChiefs;1336639 wrote:I think thats where the disappointment lies. They answered the Tig/Pope thing too soon in the episode, which was the big question everyone wanted to know. Then they didn't leave us with a "shocking" cliffhanger to start next season like they normally do.
Totally agree - When it ended with Tara going to jail it seemed like a let down. When Jax woke up with the note I thought Tara had taken the boys and left town.

I actually felt bad for Clay, I dislike Gemma more than any other character on the show. She's just a selfish c*nt.

Yeah, as much as I've hated Clay and wanted him to die for a while now I felt really bad for him last night. I like the way they took that but I still felt bad for him. I'm curious to find out who ends up killing him. I also like they way that Pope's 2nd hand man took the news. Tiernan was wrong in that he didn't facilitate the murder but he did know what happened and seemed okay with the way things went down.

And yes, Gemma is a raging bitch. It's going to be interesting to see what Jax does when he finds out Gemma is the reason Tara went to jail. Chiefs bringing up Jax siding with Gemma so Tara can't take his boys is interesting. I honestly could see this going either way. Obviously he feels betrayed by Tara but not sure if he'd allow Gemma to get away with this.

I am glad Nero survived the season. His character is good and he gives the club another great ally. It probably won't happen but I'd love to see him last through the rest of the series and get that farm.

I think it's pretty obvious that Chibs will be the new VP. Maybe too obvious, though?

    Yeah, has to be Chibs.

Have they said how many more seasons they are planning to go?

I think there are 2 more - anymore than 2 i think it could get stale. Also - i could see Tig being the VP since he's in Jaxs' pocket for not being in jail.

I was also wrong Tig didnt actually cut Pope's head off. But now I see Jax needed Pope's body intact to set up Clay. I'm not positive Gemma is the one who set up Tara either...I know she threatened to do so but it seemed pretty quick for her to pull that card. The ex-Marshall may have pulled some strings to get her arrested.

Good point about Gemma and Tara. Didn't think of that.

Yeah. Sutter has stated that the plan from the beginning has always been 7 seasons.

I was expecting Clay to kill Juice and also to flea the country. Definitely didn't expect him to get arrested. I don't think he'll die before the final season and most likely the final couple episodes. Anyone think there's any chance Bobby dies? I don't think any character is safe. I could also see Clay becoming President again with Jax as his VP. Jax fights so hard to not be like Clay and to leave the club and ends up just like Clay. Definitely think Jax will lose his family.

But the ex marshall isn't exactly sure what happened yet does he? I don't think it was a coincidence Gemma was there right when Tara was arrested.

I agree that's how its being set up to look like...and you are probably correct. But something is telling me that is just too tidy. Then again I'd have bet big V-cash that Tig would cut Pope's head off.

I think Bobby will be convinced to come back to the table.

He didn't leave the club just the role of VP.

Im not sure Jax will want him back after he betrayed him by going to Clay.

A couple of reviews that I read said that it is presumed that he is leaving the club. Hope you are right...I like his character.

We expect a lot of the same things. Gemma had more of an "oh shit" look on her face than "ha ha bitch" when she saw Tara in the car. Tara will never believe it wasn't Gemma, so Jax has to deal with her/them whatever the case may really be.

I too was pulling for Tig to get the head, but I guess that also would've been too perfect. You don't always get everything you want. Can't believe I didn't expect Clay's gun to become an issue in the Pope deal because I noticed it in the trailer and fully expected it to play somehow. Just never really put the two together because it was Juice in the middle, I guess.

Speaking of Juice, somebody got to off that mother*#$%er. Dude is a walking ping pong ball going from one side to the other. I feel bad for him because he's not the ruthless SOB that most of the other guys are, but at the same time, he's the biggest b*#$% around.

Maybe just taking a break like Opie.

Juice will end up killing himself before the series is over.

My assumption is that if Bobby was leaving the club he would have left his cut... not just cut off the VP tag.
  • sportchampps
I agree I don't think bobby is leaving just giving up vp. I also think it was Gemma that turned in Tara. She was already going to the police dept to give a statement about Clay why not just give Tara up then too. Also did anyone notice the ending with Gemma saying I'm here for you Jax was just like the picture in the box in the box of jaxs old man
  • sportchampps
BTW loved Tig saving the dog and taking it in. I bet Isadore expects the Pitbull to bite able. Also loved the other dog getting revenge in the car.
  • Dixie Normous
Gemma turns in Tara, Tara tells Jax and that puts him at odds with Gemma which will put him at odds with Nero

Just something to think about, when Jax turned Tig over to Pope, he made sure he got the written proof of involvement in the new development of Charming Heights. After Popes death, when questioning Jax, Jax tells Popes second in command that he didnt even show because of all the vehicles. When that guy finds out that Jax has the papers, the only way he could have got them was by meeting Pope and it could get interesting. Just something to think about.
  • GoChiefs
It seems as if Popes right hand man knows what went down. Jax can just say the papers were mailed to his lawyer just like Pope said Hale's papers were mailed to Hale's lawyers.
