RotinajFucking awesome thread. Hof worthy for sure.

justincredibleI assume this is in regards to fly thread banning you from the 9/11 thread because of your "hilarious" comment that you knew would derail the thread. I don't think you're going to get much sympathy from anyone.

O-TrapDoes this feel like a pre-teen girl's Facebook post to anyone else?

queencitybuckeyeReal concerns over rules are done via private message. Those done in public view are done to stir the shit. Always.

Fab4RunnerMantooth and I like to vaguebook occasionally just to get some reactions. I also like to call people out for it once in a while.

My favorite is when I read posts by some of the girls at the youth center in North Hill.Fab4Runner;1267937 wrote:#vaguebooking
Here's an example:

Seriously, I don't even know what she's saying. -

This fine young lady is starting out by voicing a concern that her friends are telling her they'll be there if she needs their help; however, when she does make such inquiries, they suddenly are coming up with excuses for why they can't provide said help.O-Trap;1267951 wrote:My favorite is when I read posts by some of the girls at the youth center in North Hill.

Someone else (preferably someone who's suffered blunt head trauma recently) might be better suited to handle the "wow jus yo mouthpiece" part. -

Thanks for the partial interpretation. Yeah, the mouthpiece part is especially puzzling.Heretic;1267956 wrote:This fine young lady is starting out by voicing a concern that her friends are telling her they'll be there if she needs their help; however, when she does make such inquiries, they suddenly are coming up with excuses for why they can't provide said help.

Crazy thing, she's a really bright person. Unfortunately got pregnant at 16, so she stopped coming around the center, but she was going to be taking college courses early, and she was an A-B student.
It's weird to see the disconnect between how people communicate in academic or official communication versus informal. -

I have to communicate the same way in both forums. I can't bring myself to send a chopped up text or Facebook post without punctuation. I tend to view posts like that as a lack of intelligence, though I know in most cases it isn't. I had one girl ask me why I'm so proper sending text messages.O-Trap;1267959 wrote:Thanks for the partial interpretation. Yeah, the mouthpiece part is especially puzzling.

Me, too. Commas and everything. I've been known to use a semicolon in texts, which a couple friends will not let me live down.Fab4Runner;1267964 wrote:I do the same thing. -

I think you did an excellent job translating the first part. I think the "wow jus yo mouthpiece" could be interpreted two different ways.Heretic;1267956 wrote:This fine young lady is starting out by voicing a concern that her friends are telling her they'll be there if she needs their help; however, when she does make such inquiries, they suddenly are coming up with excuses for why they can't provide said help.

1) It could be describing a person as all talk and no action (just a mouthpiece).
2) It could be telling someone to stop talking (adjust your mouthpiece). -
jmogI'm the same way, proper grammar on FB and texts. It drives me nuts!

I feel as if semicolons are underutilized.O-Trap;1267967 wrote:Me, too. Commas and everything. I've been known to use a semicolon in texts, which a couple friends will not let me live down. -
