Agreed millennium force is the greatest -

At first I was really disappointed. Only 164 ft drop? 67 mph? http://www.cedarpoint.com/gatekeeper Seemed kinda short and not-so-fast. But then, when you stop and put it into perspective, the Magnum XL 200 (since when did it become 200? I thought it was always 2000?) 195 ft and 72 mph... Raptor 119 ft and 57 mph... and the Maverick 00 ft and 70 mph... GateKeeper doesn't sound too bad afterall.
It will replace the Needle and Disaster Transport (nowhere to hide now on overly-hot days). -

Agreed. But both are great -

I believe it was always Magnum XL-200? The 200 represents the fact that it was the first coaster to break the 200 feet mark. Unless they added that on it's anniversary?Scarlet_Buckeye;1246020 wrote:GateKeeper

I thought that they were move Disaster Transport to another part of the park to try to keep the most coaster record intack. I actually enjoy the ride still, decent coaster for ages 6-12 and elders.Scarlet_Buckeye;1246020 wrote:...and Disaster Transport (nowhere to hide now on overly-hot days). -
said_aouitaAgreed with everyone agreeing.
-
hangonsloopyCan't wait for this!
-
bigkahunaI like the design of it. It has the hanging experience as the raptor, but it's not inverted; pretty cool.
-
reclegend22They should move Disaster Transport to Six Flags Saudi Arabia and rename it 9/11.

CherI rode Maverick the first season it was there and said to myself "It doesn't look that great" and then it turned out to be awesome.
Millenium Force is definitely better, though. -
Belly35I was happy with the Blue Streak

ernest_t_bassWhich one is maverick?
-
Mikey McDFor me it's close but I'll take the Maverick over MF. This ride looks pretty sweet though. I love it when CP gets new coasters can't wait to ride this next year.
-
SonofanumpHave yet to ride the Maverick. MF, Dragster then Raptor are tops for me.
Can not ride Mantis, Corkscrew, Mean Streak, XL200 anymore. -

Mark Me down as one who hates to ride Mantis or as I call it the Man KillerSonofanump;1246462 wrote:Have yet to ride the Maverick. MF, Dragster then Raptor are tops for me.

hangonsloopyI also hate riding mantis and magnum. I don't thinking I've rode them the last 2 years I've gone.
-
GOONx19The part where this one goes through those two cement blocks looks pretty awesome to me.

raiderbuckMaverick used to have an inversion called a "heartline roll." However, CP removed the inversion due to large number of complaints for head injuries. I believe a video of the inversion is on youtube, I wish I had ridden Maverick when it had the heartline roll. It looked sweet!
