People bicker and yell at each other for the entire movie. Over trivial things. Apatow's oldest daughter is a terrible actress and was the most annoying character in the movie

All in all, there are some laughs but when you watch this after 'Django Unchained' you are very aware of the difference in overall quality
yeah, the kids were unbearable...but in fairness to the actress, I have nieces that act nearly the same.

Brother went to see Hobbit and will see it again..in a better theatre. He said it was shot in a certain frames per second that not every place has? In our local dump, hey its only 5 bucks and 4 on tuesdays, it had times of being a little blurry

So I didn't watch Looper yet, but I did watch Jiro: Dreams of Sushi...and it was f'n awesome! Great documentary.

I saw 'This is 40' last week -- to echo many others, it wasn't as funny as anticipated. There was just a lot of loud, obnoxious yelling. Megan Fox made it a little more worthwhile, though.

Anyone seen previews for Mama? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Am7i7uM9r0
    Looks decently scary.

I watched This is 40 today. I thought it was alright. I thought it was lame that they made it a partial sequel to Knocked Up. I wasn't nearly as annoyed with the constant bickering or the eldest daughter as everyone else seemed to be.

I'll go check out Mama. I'm assuming Guillermo Del Toro will rebound from the last trash he fooled me with. (Don't Be Afraid of the Dark)

Wow so I was leaving the theater today when I heard two old black cats discussing Django. One said he didn't think the movie needed to be made and he wouldn't go see any more movies with Jamie Foxx, Samuel L, or made by Tarantino.

I'm sure that person was directly affected by slavery. You can't ignore a part of the past.

Would you pay $10 to listen to her complain about her iPhone and how bad her life sucks? I wouldn't haha and that's basically what Apatow's daughter does the whole movie. Realistic? Yes. Unbearable? Absolutely

Avengers: most overrated film of 2012 according to LA Times

    http://www.latimes.com/entertainment/movies/moviesnow/la-et-mn-avengers-overrated-movie-2012-poll-20130102,0,7295260.story

My vote would have gone to The Master, though I never saw Avengers

How can Avengers be overrated? Its a comic book/superhero movie!
  • Classyposter58
The Avengers was a really good and enjoyable movie and I'm a bit of a movie snob

Awful flick IMO. I could barely get through it.

I would have loved it when I was 5.

I enjoyed the Avengers quite a bit. Entertaining movie and what not... Not something that will win any academy awards...

Yeah, I liked avengers as well. It was just a dumb action movie and exactly what I expected going in.

Yeah, watched it friday night. It is one of the worst horror movies in recent memory. It was not meant to be funny, but there were several hundred people laughing all the way through it.

This I watched 30 min then turned it off. I watched looper today, it was ok not what I expected it to be. The ending was just kind of retarded
