I did not find it very good, just below average. Wilson was good, but the movie did not flow well IMHO. Not a Hemingway fan either.

I was watching The Muppets but I think I will quit now. I'm mot sure why it has a 95 percent on Rotten Tomatoes. Going to give Midnight in Paris a look now.

I saw Taken 2.. I enjoyed it. Nothing academy worthy, but a fun movie.

I really wanna check out Argo though.

Saw The Muppets on a plane. I was a captive audience and still had trouble getting through it. The first musical number was good, the rest were sort of meh and there was too much concentration on the human characters. I agree that its crazy that is has a 95% on RT. I guess many critics gave it a thumbs up for nostalgia purposes. I doubt I'll ever watch it again. Pretty much all of my friends (who like me grew up with the Muppets) are in agreement.

I thought Taken 2 was alright. I don't think a 21 percent on Rotten Tomatoes is fair but it is what it is I guess. I'm interested in Argo as well.

I ended up turning it off after like 30 minutes. I was a fan of the other muppet movies when I was younger but I just couldn't get interested and I generally like Jason Segal and Amy Adams.

Going to go check out Here Comes the Boom today. I generally like Kevin James, Salma Hayek, and I'm a big MMA fan so I should be entertained.

I'm definitely not a literature/historical buff but it was a really cool concept for a movie and well done. I think it's one of those movies regardless of your typical preferences you can find some enjoyment in it.

Agreed! Love this movie, but then again, it included two of the most beautiful things around: Paris, and Marion Cotillard

It kept my interest much more than I figured it would. I liked it.

Just got back from watching Here Comes the Boom. I thought it was mildly entertaining. The MMA stuff was kind of cool, I enjoy Selma Hayek, and there were a few laughs but it wasn't even as entertaining as I expected it to be.

Liam Neeson is always awesome. I'd give it a solid 3 out of 4 stars.

Just rented Prometheus on Apple TV. Holy crap.

Great art direction and visuals, and a very good underlying idea for an Alien prequel regarding the origin of mankind, yet terrible execution. That was one of the worst scripts I've ever seen. No character made sense, no actions of characters made sense and the underlying idea eventually didn't make sense.

Argo is one of the best thrillers I've seen in a long time Affleck did a great job directing. Solid cast.

Anyone else interested in seeing "Flight"?

Finally saw Lawless and it was great

All true. But I still enjoyed it (my standards have gotten really low after years of almost endless crap).

Glad you mentioned Alien. I thought that's what it was at end the end, but I was only like 95% sure. I thought the rest of the movie was weak enough that it might have just been a lame rip-off.

And what about the "architect" in the very beginning with the poison pill? What was that all about?

If you remember from the original Alien when the crew found the alien craft where the eggs were there was a dead alien they called the "space jockey" who apparently died from an alien bursting out of its chest. The idea was that those blue guys were the "Space Jockey" from the original Alien.
