^ Feels like something Tim Burton and Johnny Depp should have done. Special effects kind of look like shit.

I loved how they flipped the script in wicked and made the wicked witch into the good guy. I am cautiously optimistic that this will be good.

Supposedly they are making a Wicked movie too

I saw Ted yesterday and laughed a lot. Stupid movie but it was definitely funny. Could've used more tits and Mila Kunis in less clothes though.

I am going with a couple friends to the premiere. First time I have been to any premiere in my life.

I'll prob go a few days after it comes out but a premiere would be tight.

Got my 12:01 tickets about 10 days ago. All 3 theaters in Toledo are showing a 12:01 a 12:05 and a 12:15 showing from what I understand.

They are doing staggered times because they are sold out and this way they can make sure no one sneaks in with their friends fucking someone else out of a seat.

My friend wants to go watch Dark Knight Rises in IMAX. I had to look it up to see where the closest location was. 45 or 50 mins away and 17 bones for a ticket. Worth it?

Doesn't seem bad - just trade off on the driving. You drive in he drives home.

Going with a couple friends tonight to the 12:01 showing, don't know the last time i've been this stoked for a movie.

    Not for me.

IMAX had better be amazing for 17 bucks a ticket for an early showing. I cant imagine how much it would be in a bigger city.

That's too rich for my blood. The marcus ultra screen has it for $10.50 in Columbus. I don't even like paying that...

Don't move to a big city then, at the independent theater, if I go before 4 and use my old student id for a discount I can get a ticket for $10 and I think that's cheap!

Arena Grand in Columbus reserved seat (comes with a free popcorn) is 11.50

Finally going to see DKR tomorrow. I cant stand not being able to see what everyone is posting in the thread. Did anyone see a teaser trailer for the new Superman?

The last Superman movie was awful but the "Man of Steel" looks like it could be promising
  • bigdaddy2003
Zack Snyder directing and Christopher Nolan as one of the producers.

With Nolan and Snyder in charge, it better be. I'm not a big Superman fan, but I'll definitely check it out. The last Superman movie was an atrocity.

This does look promising though. Costner and Crowe play the adopted and biological fathers to Kent/Superman, I believe.
