    Actually... no.

I agree. I think it will be a good movie, and Ill see it. Im just saying people will compare it to one, and in that sense it wont be as good. But as a single movie, it would be epically awesome!

I didn't see taken in theaters - so i don't care if they re-release the first one, i'd go see it. It'll be sweet and seeing it in theaters will only enhance the awesomeness

I know, standards. Something that is foreign to you.

some similar concepts regarding animals/imaginary friends are below. As far as plots (i've seen 100x before), it looks like a love story where dude's best friend is an asshole and said asshole needs figure shit out. Ala you me and dupree, wedding crashers, I love you man. etc etc.

I wouldn't call it standards; don't flatter yourself.

Not really. Same story, its just a bear not a human. And the comedy looks cruel and tragic not cheeky and fun.

I was thinking you were referrig to movies like Howard the Duck.
  • Rotinaj
Saw Abraham Lincoln vampire hunter Friday. Thought it was pretty decent.

    ^^^

    Agreed. I liked it.

I liked Brave a lot too.

I also really liked Rock of Ages.

Clearly I like everything. Except Prometheus. So don't mind me.
  • brutus161
Took my daughter to see Brave today. I enjoyed the movie, as did my daughter.
  • Iliketurtles
In the last week I've seen Rock of Ages and Abe Lincoln Vampire Hunter. Both were better than I expected them to be. Might have to go check out Brave just to see if it is really as good as people are saying.
  • hasbeen
Plan on seeing Prometheus, Brave, Abe Lincoln, Friend for the end of the world this week.
  • Iliketurtles
Yeah I want to check out Seeking a friend for the end of the world. Just cause Carell is normally awesome. Probably we do that sometime this coming weekend.
  • Commander of Awesome
Saw Moonrise Kingdom on Saturday. Thought was excellent.
  • bigdaddy2003
I wish I had a chance to go see Moonrise Kingdom.

I'll probably go check out Abe Lincoln on Tuesday.

Working on finishing up Bridesmaids. Still dont see why it received the praise it did. Just watched a part where Kristen Wiig calls the flight attendant stove instead of Steve. Yeah, that is hilarious. /sarcasm. One critic said Wiig did an amazing job. I dont see it yet. It must start in the last 45 mins.

Edit post: So the movie never got any better and I ended up fast forwarding through the final 20 minutes.

That movie took you about a week to finish? lol...

And yeah, I saw reviews that said Melissa McCarthy was a funnier Zach Galifanakis..

    You're sexist! /sarcasm.

Its a different movie, it was advertized as hangover female version but it wasn't the same. I still enjoyed it though. Really funny to see women do raunchy comedy.

That's what killed it for me. I had over the top expectations going in and then it was only mildly funny once or twice.

Same. I laughed 2 or 3 times during the movie, but it was more of a "heh" and not an actual "LOL" liek I was doing during the Hangover.
