  LSU will stay at #1 in the next poll as they continue to win. Coach Bucks has now improved his record to 3-0 versus his good friend Coach Dame. Spencer Ware carried the Tigers to victory rushing for 246 yards on 16 carries he also scored 3 times. Sophomore Zach Mettenberger went 6-10 for 176 yards and 2 TD's. He connected once with Russell Shepard on a 75 yard broken coverage then connecting with Deanelo Peterson for 19. Not all was good for the Tigers as the secondary got beat many of times by the VOLS receiving corp. In the after game interview you would have thought the Tigers got beat. Coach Bucks was not happy saying "264 yards passing on 10-14. You have got to be fucking kidding me. The ran and threw all over us. We never stopped them they only stop themselves. We have to get back to the basics and stop fucking around during practice. Nobody cares we are undefeated or the #1 team in the country. Thank god we have Spencer Ware on our team our defense better be buying him a steak dinner this week because he saved their asses."

  Notre Dame beats 5-1 USC 50-29 in their final tune up before welcoming #1 LSU to South Bend. To prepare for the Tigers, Coach Steel brought in a local 7th grade team as the scout team to run LSU's grade school/throw 5 passes per game offense.
