  I'm gonna come off as a noob dickwad with this question, but to post pics to this site, do they have to be on a site like photobucket or can they just be on my hard drive/desktop? Don't have any at home, but I do on my work computer and can easily generate more to go with showing off my crappy cubicle on LJ's "office pics" thread.

  You simply have to have them uploaded somewhere other than the drive of the computer you are using. You need the URL to insert in between the brackets.
  
  If you don't have any at home, send yourself an email with them attached. Open at home, save to drive, and there you go.
