  I knew I scored too early. Left him a over a minute with full timeouts and he marched down and kicked the walk off FG. I was trying to milk the clock but hit a 42 yard TD pass and had to take it.
  
  Great game. We each forced one punt but the INT proved to be the difference. Games like these always come down to turnovers.

  The Longhorns run their winning streak to 44! Connor Wood led the Longhorns throwing for 254 yards with 2 TD on 11-12 passing, also rushing for 1 TD. Jon Palmer rushed for 170 yards and 1 score to go along with Woods passing. Bama sophomore Qb and freshman running back combined for 355 yards and 4 TD.

  Our young QB was making his first road start today and was rattled..he missed some open guys and airmailed a pass about 20 yards over his receivers head right to the Texas Stong Safety.
  
  We start 16 freshman or sophmores...a lot of them starting for the first time in a hostile environment and it showed on defense.

  Texas survives a scare from Oklahoma. Oklahoma cut into the Texas halftime lead of 24-7 by the end of the 3rd quarter it was 24-21. But Texas was to much in the end returning a kick to make it 31-21! The. Longhorns then scored 10 more points to win 41-21.
