My recruiting is going slow this year. Since I had such a good class last year, I don't have a lot needs. I've got a bunch of 4* guys that I'm just waiting to committ. Who knows how many will be busts though cuz I got a 5* DE last year that I cut cuz he was a 68 overall! Now WTF is with that haha -

Texas once again landed the best scrambling quarterback. Next year the Longhorns could have 4 Quarterbacks rated above 80 on the depth chart. The Longhorns also signed 2 5 star running backs to go along with the guys they already have.
The only need I had going into the season was a center, and I signed 2 of them. The only 5 star center on the board Darius Wright ranked 14th overall and 4 star Jerome Hughes who is ranked 74th overall. -

anyways the 1st gm with the new QB went well. He was rattled for the 1st quarter but after some good plays he settled in. 10-13 passing and 50 some yards rushing. He is not nearly the passer Newsome is so it will be interesting to see if that is the downfall of this team. Only a few weeks left!!
