McDonald's All-American Game

I watched the Cavs-Bucks game, so I didn't start watching it until there was about 5 minutes left.. It had a good ending, but I agree with you.

Well a Buckeye and Tar Heel were the Co-MVP's, I'm not mad.

I wonder if some of the OSU fans are ready to reconsider Sully playing behind Lauderdale next year?

I just made it home from the game. Good atmosphere! I'm about to watch it again on my DVR.

TheDynasty.....Crazy because I was thinking about the same thing! He told ESPN he wants to push Lauderdale down to the PF, and he play Center. Something like that at least......

Mally.....You didn't tell me you were going.

At the game I said to myself "who is that big tall dude across the court. He has to be a player somewhere." Going through the game on my DVR it turns out it was DeMarcus Cousin. John Wall and Eric Bledsoe were next to him. Sorry Kentucky fans, but they are just about gone now. They were sitting court side in one of the more expensive section of the arena. This kinda similar to the story Texas football coach Mack Brown made about Vince Young. Brown said he knew he was gone when Vince stop by his house in a limo lol.

I thought you would be there. I saw D.

I wonder if they got those seats as a gift? Anything over 60 bucks is technically violation worthy.

What also made it crazy is that Evan was sitting in the mid sections. An All-American in his home arena didn't even get a court side seat. It makes you wonder. That may be more good news for Buckeye fans hoping he stay since he didn't have an expensive ticket.

No, I was not covering tonight. Will you be at the All-Star game tomorrow?

I don't think ET honestly knows what he wants to do, yet.

    BUT, he will be gone.

I wasn't covering it either. I paid my way. I may go to the all-star game tomorrow. It might be a last minute decision.

Can we at least have some hope? :(

Easy to see why Harrison Barnes is the No.1 ranked player

I'm sorry, but if you think "ET" is returning to Columbus based on the fact that he was sitting in the "mid section" seats at Value City Arena for a high school all-star game, then lol.

He's gone, but what I find interesting is why he's making it appear as if he's undecided. I really can't believe this is true. Honestly, he'd be nuts to give up possibly the top pick in the Draft (I don't know what the current Draft projections are).

I will admit, though, that it'd be great to be wrong and know that a big time college player still values his senior season and a chance at winning the ultimate prize in college athletics.

If ET "DID" return, the Buckeyes would no doubt be the favorite heading into next season.
  • SQ_Crazies
    Maybe.
  • hoops23
    Maybe what?
  • SQ_Crazies
Maybe they'd be considered the favorite. You think they'd be preseason #1? Don't doubt they'd be top 5.
  • hoops23
If ET returns, OSU is bringing back everybody except David Lighty and a STACKED recruiting class. They'd no doubt be the favorites.

Of course, this is all moot because ET isn't returning.
  • KobeStopper
There is doubt, but that's why the games are played.
  • SQ_Crazies
I have doubt, I'm not sure OSU has earned the respect of getting the #1 seed. They wouldn't be the only good team heading into next season. Not the only or the best class either.
  • hoops23
No shit they don't have the "only or best class".. I think I'm aware of that being a UNC fan..

However, you count that with what they have returning, it'd be hard pressed to find another team with as much talent.

I'm not saying they'd win, or live up to the hype, but they'd definitely be labeled as preseason favorites.

I mean, whether they earned it or not, that '07 class was labeled as a preseason favorite along with UNC and Florida.
  • SQ_Crazies
    Sullinger is not Oden.

I'm not saying you might not be right, and they'd certainly be top 5. Had they got past the Sweet 16 this year, I'd have no doubt. But I'm not sure they'll get that respect. In fact, I think UNC will get more respect for winning the NIT than the Bucks making the Sweet 16 as a 2 seed.

In my opinion, Ohio State is Preseason #1 in the nation if Turner comes back. They would return their entire starting 5, bring in one of the top recruiting classes, and will have the ability to go 11 deep with their roster. What other team in the country can say that heading into next season? The only team I can seriously think of who can be more of a favorite is Kentucky and that is only if Wall, Cousins, and Bledsoe returns.
