Other than that, that is hilarious. All those things seem so long ago, because they kind of are. -
QuintThis is hilarious.

These are the biggest travisties of the RR era. -

Not too mention their first loss to a MAC school. And they also gave up a record amount of points in the 2008 season.OneBuckeye wrote: Michigan had the longest active streak of bowl game appearances.

Did we mention that UM hadn't lost back to back to MSU in nearly 40 years?
Or that no top 25 ranked team ever lost to a D1AA school? LOL -
OneBuckeyeIf I were a michigan fan I would be very embarrassed and depressed. Thankfully this just makes me laugh.

dwccrewThe difference between OSU getting dominated in the 90's by UM and now (when OSU dominates UM) is that even though OSU was being dominated by UM in the 90's, they still had respectful seasons, beating most if not all opponents.
Now, not only is UM getting dialed by OSU year after year, they look like shit against everyone else as well. When was the last time OSU finished last in the conference? When was the last time OSU had back to back losing seasons? -
SportsAndLadyGood stuff..but I still hate you vball.

I don't think that's right. I think that they were the highest ranked team to ever lose to a D-1AA school, but I don't think they were the first ranked team to do it.dwccrew wrote: Or that no top 25 ranked team ever lost to a D1AA school? LOL -

Actually, it is right. It may have not been the first time a D1 team was beaten by a D1AA team, but it was the first time a RANKED D1AA team was beaten by a D1AA team.krambman wrote:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2007_Appalachian_State_vs._Michigan_football_gameIn what was hailed as one of the biggest upsets in the history of American sports,[1][2] the Mountaineers shocked the fifth-ranked Wolverines 34–32. It was the first win ever by a team in Division I FCS (still frequently known by its former name of Division I-AA) over a ranked team in Division I FBS (formerly Division I-A) since the NCAA split its Division I into two football subdivisions in 1978. -
dwccrewAnother article

I see what you are saying. However, if you don't count the RRod era, here are the winning percentages for each team in the decade they got dominated.dwccrew wrote: The difference between OSU getting dominated in the 90's by UM and now (when OSU dominates UM) is that even though OSU was being dominated by UM in the 90's, they still had respectful seasons, beating most if not all opponents.

1990's - OSU - .736
2000's - Mich - .723
Now, if you throw in the RRod stats, Michigan's % in the 2000's is only .664. :@
With that said, the Buckeyes did have some very good teams in the 90's, and Michigan played the spoiler for many of them.
Ahhhh, the good ole days.
