    Chris Wright from UD. Lolz

I'm kinda glad Davis is gone. He was a good player, but now it keeps the rotation shorter. Henson/ Wear/ Wear/ and Zeller will be just fine.

Butler's Hayward is gone, but won't hire an agent. I think he'll be back after some workouts.

He should review tape of Adam Morrison in college and the NBA and then return to school for his last year of competitive ball--at least in this country.q

It'd be big mistake for Hayward to leave. What are these kids thinking? I imagine the potential lockout is a precursor here, but still. Hayward is in the same mold of a sophomore Mike Dunleavy or a little more athletic sophomore Kyle Singler, and neither of those two were ready for the NBA after two years of college.

Singler, despite being a great, great college talent (probably the best in the land if he returns another season), is still not ready to make a big impact, if any real impact, in the NBA. If Kyle leaves, and I don't blame him if he does, it will more than likely take him at least two or three seasons to truly break a line-up significantly. And Singler ate Hayward up at the Final Four.

Hayward needs to return. With the team Butler has returning, he'd be crazy not to. He can make a HUGE splash next season, Stephen Curry-esque.

I think the media has alot to do with it, they stroke these kids egos so much they start to believe it. At least Hayward is not hiring an agent so he can go back after he goes to the workouts and realizes ...oh shit.

I disagree about Hayward. I think he will be a very good pro, and if he's not ready it is only due to a physical standpoint. I think he needs to add some weight, but he is multi talented and has a great pace to his game. Plus, I don't think he can really raise his stock much. He is what he is and whatever knocks people have on him now will still be there next year.

If Hayward ever has a chance at a guaranteed contract its after this year. I feel this is the only tome he will be taken in the first round.

I also think he will make it in the NBA whenever he comes out and wherever he is drafted.

Hayward won't be shit in the NBA. I'll gladly eat my words if I'm wrong because I like him--and Butler for that matter. But he'll be a D-Leaguer if he doesn't go overseas.

Hayward is not gonna be a good pro IMO. Hes not quick, athetic or strong enough
  • thedynasty1998
nbanbadraft.net has Hayward going 14th and draftexpress.com has him 20th.

I'm not comparing him to Evan Turner talent wise, but that's about where he was projected last year and came back and moved up to top 5.

I haven't seen Hayward enough to make an informed decision about his NBA prospects, but if Kyle Singler can lock you up, and he did, you don't have a game that translates to the NBA.

With that being said, if Hayward is going to be a 1st round selection, he should enter the draft and get paid for his services.

Gordon Hayward is a pro. He should go back to school to bulk up but that kid WILL be an NBA player and a good one.
  • Hb31187
^^Lol you make it sound like you think he'll be an allstar

Really? I mean, I guess Adam Morrison has a championship ring..
  • jpake1
Hayward will be lucky to be the second coming of Tony Kukoc, or however you spell his name.

By saying I think he'll be a good pro? Ok. There are what, 30 All Stars a year out of 400+ NBA players? So if the top 10% of the league makes up all of the good players then I'm guilty as charged.

Adam Morrison was a top ten pick. Yes he has been a bust but obviously NBA execs saw something there. And I don't think Hayward's game is comparable to Morrison's at all. The only thing they have is common is that they're white.

I'm not saying I can't be wrong. But me saying I think he'll be a good pro and other people saying they think he'll suck and head overseas are about the same---none of us can tell right now. It's hardly an exact science. If it was, Darko Milicic doesn't get drafted ahead of Melo, Bosh, and Wade, Marvin Williams doesn't go over Chris Paul and Deron Williams, etc. Hayward has an NBA frame that needs filled out. As is, he's a first rounder. I'm not even a Butler/Hayward fan, I just think the kid is a pro.

Soph Monroe from Georgetown is heading to NBA.

Chris Wright is now coming back.
    ESPNAndyKatz:

Dayton's Chris Wright stayed in the draft for four days. Good call. Flyers need him. He needs the Flyers next season.
  • CinciX12
Haha Chris Wright is a massive, massive tool. He probably declared and no one called him from either a representation standpoint or a team.

He probably declared because he is a Junior and he had nothing to lose by declaring. Ive already seen a few players(Juniors) say they are coming back and had no intentions of staying in the draft, just wanted to throw their name out there because they could.

Gordon Hayward has announced he will stay in the draft.
