Did anyone else see Turner crying like a baby after the game?

Only a shallow, insecure person would make fun of someone for crying.

And we all knew ahdonis would counter with the LSU game.

So let's take a look at the actual UCLA footage:

What if Christian had reacted that way to this?

There's nothing wrong with crying. When you cry before the game is over, however, when you're team has the ball and a chance to still win, then that shows zero resolve -- and is likely why Morrison didn't get the ball or a chance at winning the game for his team.

Jesus some people are dense. NO ONE IS MAKING FUN OF TURNER for crying. Simply, they are just pointing out the ridiculous double standards of some people who bash those they dont like and stick up for those they do like despite the same actions.

I'd never make fun of any athlete for crying when their career ends. Those who do make fun of those athletes, rather it's Tebow or Turner, have obviously never put a huge investment into their sport's careers and experience the pain when it ends. I know I cried during both my senior night and my last game when I was in high school. It's one of the tougest pills to ever swallow.

True, Laley...but, I'd bet the farm there aren't a dozen youtubes made of Turner by the end of the weekend, displaying his "weakness".

I don't know what that says exactly...but interesting to note anyway.

    Exactly!!!

Your predictability and immaturity level is unmatched on this site. First , you admit breaking a stool(as if it is some sort of badge of honor) because the dukies choked against IU and now, then you, predictably, take and shot at Morrison for no reason.

    You are clever.

This is certainly not the case, but I'm fine with you thinking it.

Did my Morrison YouTube video get a few laughs? Yes, it did. This is an insignificant message board meant purely for entertainment purposes when one is bored and on the Internet, and I thought I'd bring some entertainment value to it. I accomplished my goal. Nothing more, nothing less. There was no hidden "hate" behind it. I could not give a damn about Adam Morrison.

P.S. Every single person here knows you as the most calculable Duke hater that's ever been on this site, and that almost everything you type is somehow connected to that hate. And you're going to call me out for predictability? Laughable.

You are right. You aren't very clever. Just boorish.

I knew if you saw my post before I went back and deleted that last part -- which I just did -- you'd write that. And right on cue...

And you're nauseatingly bitchy. Probably fits your age, I would suspect.

Only from people who break stools because their favorite team lost. It is telling.

Tebow had more to cry about. He won 2 titles and had the talent to win a 3rd and had a bad game against Bama. Turner never won nothing and had a great game. But, they are young kids and its no big deal to cry. Obviously they loved their team and their fans and fans should be happy they cared that much.

    Hey Rec:
You can have a laugh fest if you watch the end of the Dayton Dunbar-vs-Port Clinton game. The tears are flowing on both sides. You won't be able to stop laughing.

Good one. As I said, there's nothing wrong with crying. I cried when my career was over. Hell, I had tears when Chris Duhon's career ended. (I don't always break chairs when Duke loses; sometimes, I'm emotional.)

Unfortunately, for only the second time since the mid-90's, I did not go to the Boy's State Tournament. I'm currently watching Butler and K-State. Who won?

    Dunbar 64-50

Thanks. Still a great year for Port Clinton. Nice to see a team near NW Ohio do well.

Apparently he didnt shake hands with the Tennessee players/coaching staff either. Diebler tried to help him up and he shrugged it off, got up and went straight to the locker room.

If I was Turner, I would have shrugged Diebler off too, then proceeded to wait for him in the locker room and tell him how fucking worthless he was in that game.

My guess is that Lighty would return but Buford would not. Turner, Lighty, Deibler, Lauderdale, Weatherspoon and Sullinger as 6 solid players, plus several other role players returning? I don't think Turner wants to end his career in the sweet 16. Several "experts" have said (which is about as good as a weatherman predicting the weather, so take it fwiw) that Turner has talked some about leaving after this year if he feels like he has accomplished everything he could in college and was satisfied. I don't think losing to a 6 seed in the 3rd round leaves him satisfied. I think he wants at least a final 4 with a matchup against one of the elite teams of college basketball (Kansas, Duke, Kentucky etc) to go out with a bang. Mark it down, as of 12:59 AM on March 27th, I'm predicting Turner returns next year ala Mike Doss to try and win a NC, with the great freshman class they have coming in next year. I think he brings Lighty back with him, and possibly Buford although I don't think it's as likely he returns.

Why don't you think Buford will return? Do you really think he's ready for the NBA?

I'm sure all the Ohio State fans will find a reason to come to his defense.

turner was crying to the refs the whole game so why stop after the game was over?
  • Automatik
I'm sure most normal people don't even care. Just like LeBron's handshake incident.....I don't give a shit.

No, I absolutely do not, but many experts I've seen seem to disagree with me, so I think it's a toss-up. Heard after the game last night he says he is, so we'll see if he sticks by that.
