NCAA Sweet 16: (6) Xavier vs (2) Kansas State

CinciX12Could we please delete this thread? I really don't want to be reminded more of last night except my headache.
In all honesty though, was there a flaw in the way either team played at all? Other than X coming out flat to start the game and letting KSU go up by 15 it was near perfection on both teams parts in the second half and overtimes. Maybe that had to happen to make it the game it was though.
At the end of the regular season and his abysmal performance in the A10 tournament I thought Crawford would stay for another year. He is obviously gone after these past 3 games. I don't know how he didn't elevate his status to lottery pick. Sorry OSU fans but I think the way he plays translates better to the NBA than Evan Turner. Jordan Crawford is easily top 2 to ever come out of X.
Love leaving makes us rely on a guy from deliverance at the 5 spot. I wouldn't trust him to watch a pile of dog shit in my backyard without fucking it up.
As far as the rest of the guys go though I think we will be very competitive next season. We still have Holloway, McLean, Jackson, Redford, Taylor, Lyons. And we bring in some very talented recruits that hopefully adapt to the system pretty quickly.
And anyone that says X won't be as good next year is actually an idiot. I have heard that kind of retardedness (word, nope) since I can remember. We can lose coaches, we can lose players, it doesn't matter. Its to the point I don't even know how we do it. Do yourself a favor and see who was supposed to win the A10, how X couldn't overcome what we lost last year, etc, and tell me I should ever be worried about this program. -

In the NCAA tournament it doesn't matter about conferences. During the regular season, how good/bad your conference is does matter...Hence, the 11 seed for Washington.SQ_Crazies wrote: Not random, I waited until the game was over to bring it back up. Couldn't have been too random--you came back to this thread for some reason...
And that's exactly what I'm saying, so why did you bring the conference thing up? No one was doubting them after last weekend.
It isn't ever about conferences. If it was the champ would be from the ACC nearly every year. -

SQ_CraziesBoooooooooohoooooooooooo, Kansas should have been about a 10 seed, that's the only problem I have with the committee.

Well you don't know jack shit about college basketball, so that would make sense that you thought Kansas should be a 10 seed.SQ_Crazies wrote: Boooooooooohoooooooooooo, Kansas should have been about a 10 seed, that's the only problem I have with the committee. -
Pick6Kansas was the most overrated team in college bball this year. That will be proved tonight after michigan state beats northern iowa w/o lucas.

SQ_CraziesJust based on results...

Remember when Sato, Chalmers, and Myles left and Xavier was supposed to be down for the foreseeable future? Or how about when we lost Burrell, Duncan, and Lavender. Both were supposed to be the end of the Musketeers dominance in the A10. Bottom line is you're right...Xavier just keeps reloading.CinciX12 wrote: And anyone that says X won't be as good next year is actually an idiot. Don't you have to go get ready for an NIT viewing party?FairwoodKing wrote: I'll cry you a tear.
