    Go Bucks!!!

OSU continues to win, they just find ways.

Guys step up at certain times in the game, just too many good offensive options in that starting lineup.

Too lazy to look it up...anyone know ..Bucks play Thurs or Friday?

Friday evening for Midwest Region, I believe.

Team that took out my alma mater vs. Ohio State... I shall root for whoever wins it having to vacate it down the road for some reason, thus no one wins :)

But seriously, OSU in a close one (less than 5).

    David Lighty vs. Wayne Chism!

My goodness I almost promise you both these guys been playing college basketball for 8 years. 2007 rematch in which they played huge roles in the game.

45 years is a long time to be making fun of a school that just won one 2 years ago, don't ya think?

Last time they played in the Tournament, 2007. Great game.

Here is hoping the Bucks can find ways to keep winning, avoid the cold streaks and turnovers, and advance.

Hey SportsAndLady, get your facts straight idiot.

It's been 50 years since the Buckeyes won the National Championship! :)

I don't know who got S&L started. I haven't said anything bad about Kansas. I also rarely say much about bandwagon fans, because I don't give a fuck what team people root for. But this is where the bandwagon comes into play. I could never take someone seriously who is talking shit because the team they bandwagon has more titles than my team, who I grew up watching and have loved my whole life.

I remember how late that game was played. I'm thinking it was a 10:00 game and I had to be at work at 4:00am. When Tennessee got up by 20 in the first half, I thought about calling it a night. Thank goodness I fought the sleep and witness the great comeback. The 3-point bucket by Lighty was huge in the second half and of course the Greg Oden block at the end.

Tenn by 6 if the real Tenn shows up
OSU by 14 if the "sorry" Tenn shows up.
  • mallymal614
Does Tennessee still run that killer press? I remember it use to give OSU problems when Conley was out of the game. Hopefully it's not the same this year as OSU is thin at the point guard position.

This is a bad match up for the Bucks. They can beat Tenn. but will have to play very, very good for 40 minutes to do so. OSU's lack of depth may finally bite them in the arse.

Tennessee doesn't have all that much depth either at this point. When Steven Pearl is your 8th man you aren't real deep.

Turner is a great player but when he decides to go one on one, sometimes the other Buckeyes just stand around and the offensive flow isn't there. Diebler has trouble if he isn't coming off a lot of screens and the movement isn't there. The ball got distributed and the movement greatly improved in the second half until right near the end when the Bucks got sloppy again. It seems like they pick the worst times to act almost nonchalant about what they're doing out on the floor. The Bucks can't afford to get careless against Tennessee. The Vols are a very good team.

I still don't get why everyone is saying "this is a tough matchup for OSU" ..... It goes both ways, the Buckeyes are a tough out for anyone left as well. Buckeyes played just about as bad as they could play in the 1st half and still put GT in foul trouble and had a 2 point lead.... Buckeyes by 8

Lol what a bunch of bullshit...bandwagon is rooting for a team b/c they're good...well guess what, KU just lost to Northern Iowa, and I was just at a bar wearing Kansas gear so there is not bandwagon here.

And where the hell am I talking shit?? Just because I'm not picking OSU to win, I'm talking shit? You OSU fans can be funny sometimes.

This will be a very good game. I'm excited to watch. Hopefully X joins the Sweet 16 party and Ohio has 2 teams in.

Tenn definitely has more depth then OSU, and you cant get around that. If I remember correctly, didnt Tenn beat Kansas with star players suspended? Obviously someone must of stepped up.

Tenn has 8 players averaging over 5 points while OSU has 5 players over 5 points.

Going to need our shooting legs in this one to soften up Tenn. They are lengthy and cocky asses. I hope we wipe the court with Bruce Pearl.

GT played as well as they could to get OSU out of rhythm and turning the ball over...if it wasn't for GT getting into foul trouble, it might have gone a different way. Diebler stepped up big in the 2nd half for OSU and hit big shots to get the big MO back towards OSU's side...this is why this team is pretty good. They have more than one guy who is capable of scoring and keeping OSU alive. This will be a pretty good matchup and I will say OSU by 6 because of getting to the free throw line at the end.
