NCAA 2nd Round: (2) Ohio State Vs. (10) Georgia Tech

krambmanInteresting. Guess I never paid close enough attention to realize that.
-
karen lotzOSU got jobbed clearly on the no FTs
-
ZeroCoolyes, offensive fouls count towards the total team fouls and the fouls against a player. gt was on offense and had the ball, gt loses control of the ball, but osu has not established control of the ball which means gt is still considered on offense. while gt player is trying to dribble the ball(badly i might add) he extends arm and pushes the osu player away and commits a player control foul.

mallymal614Ohio State is playing at a faster pace to start the second half.

-
Fab1bBucks with a chance to make a statement here after the GT turnover
-
ZeroCooltale of two halves. osu coming out aggressive and asserting control of game. this one could get ugly quick.
-
Cleveland BuckTicky tack offensive foul on Favors for his third, then they missed a foul on him next time down. The officiating is evening out.
-
Fab1bGT not doing themselves any favors here, we really need to take advantage of this!

I beg to differ with that. They count against the team total as far as 7 for 1+1 and double bonus at 10. I believe the proper way to administer it is that if the foul occurred by the offensive player when he, or his team(in the case of an illegal screen) was in control of the ball, then posession just switched, but if the ball was not in control like this, or if a driving player passed off just before he crashed into a defensive player, then foul shots were in order if the total number of fouls warranted.Cleveland Buck wrote:

EVENING OUT?? you think that the refs were favoring Tech in the first half?Cleveland Buck wrote: Ticky tack offensive foul on Favors for his third, then they missed a foul on him next time down. The officiating is evening out. -

Midstate01Run, run, run!!!

mallymal614I hope OSU can maintain this lead. the last few weeks teams have been able to get back in the game when OSU is up.

Cleveland Buck
No, I just worded it poorly. The officiating has been good so far. They made up for the weak 3rd foul by letting him get away with the hook the next time down. He has 3 fouls and should have 3 fouls.karen lotz wrote:
